It's a 5-minute drive from Gourdon, which boasts all amenities, a local market, and numerous nearby activities (caves, canoeing on the Dordogne River, horseback riding, treetop adventure courses, etc.).
Sarlat, the capital of the Périgord Noir, is 20 minutes away, and Rocamadour is 40 minutes away.
In this region of 1,000 castles, you can also discover, among others, the castles of Castelnau and Beynac, the village of Domme, and the Padirac Cave north of Rocamadour.
Insectopia, a fascinating interactive museum 32 km from the house, is well worth a day trip.

Great quiet location

Great location. Very quiet. Pool area and garden are viewable from roads but there is very little traffic, mainly the local farmer going back and forth and a few cars. Garden is enclosed. Very rural. Inside its organised well and very practical with everything you need. We brought more towels for the pool area for ease. Kids loved it and you could see the pool from the house/kitchen which enables more freedom for both kids and parents. Lots to do in the surrounding area. Highly recommended.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour ici, dans le département du Lot. Le logement est très bien équipé et aménagé avec goût, notamment la cuisine qui dispose de tout ce dont on a besoin. Les lits sont confortables et, comme nous venons de la ville, nous avons beaucoup apprécié le calme nocturne.La communication avec Alain lors de la préparation de nos vacances s'est très bien passée. Karine et Charlie étaient joignables à tout moment et ont réagi immédiatement lorsque cela était nécessaire. Parfait. Merci pour tout.Nous aurions toutefois une suggestion à faire :il aurait été appréciable que le logement soit préchauffé à notre arrivée (en décembre !). Il a fallu trois jours et trois nuits pour que la température dans le salon soit suffisamment agréable pour que nous puissions y passer plus de temps.

Vacances familiales en Dordogne

Superbe séjour et découverte de la région. Location idéale pour notre famille pouvant rayonner facilement pour visiter de nombreux sites d'exception à environ 1 h maximum. Location tout confort, bien équipée et isolée pour les fortes chaleurs. Piscine et extérieur très agréables et appréciables. Nous recommandons ce lieu et avons également apprécié les échanges avec le propriétaire !
