Very typical older French property. Bags of character. We have stayed here before and met the owner Bruno. Very friendly anf easy to deal with. The pool is somewhat larger than usual and heated, which is brilliant.

Fantastic week

We had a fantastic week in this beautiful, well equipped house. The outside spaces are equally as good. The heated pool is big and totally private. Very quiet location but just 12 mins drive into town where you have all the amenities and large supermarkets. Excellent location for lots of tourism and days out. There is no wifi connection but the 4G signal is good - and that wasn’t a problem for us. We were sad to leave and would highly recommend.

La maison est très jolie et agréable. Bien fraîche, piscine très agréable également. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Bruno nous a même trouvé une baby-sitter! Merci pour ce séjour.

Fantastic homely house with heated pool

Great house with everything you need for a fantastic family holiday. We came a 4 adults and 3 children. Bruno was very easy to communicate with and answered promptly to any questions and the host maria was so kind and helpful with everything. This is a 3 bed house with 2 doubles with 1 with a cot and then also 2x bunk beds in a room so 4 children places. The house had everything you could imagine unlike alot alot of holiday rentals so this made it feel extremely homely. The house is in an amazing rural location with everything easily excisable by car with amazing star lit skys at night. The pool was great. Thank you once again Bruno and Maria

Peace and Quiet

Great location, peaceful and a charming property. Bruno was excellent and made sure our stay was the best it could be. The heated pool was absolutely fantastic and is completely private. If I have one small negative, the bed was a little hard for my taste, but that is down to personal choice. Its a house that we would definitely return to in the future. There is plenty of equipment supplied, TV, DVD, washing m/c, dishwasher and much more so we found that we lacked for nothing. Our thanks to Bruno, Maria and Manu.

Calme et repos

Maison très bien située pour visiter la region proche de Gourdon, Sarlat et de la Roque Gageac. Non climatisée mais les murs epais de cette maison ancienne ont gardé la fraîcheur malgré 2 semaines caniculaires. Tres grande piscine chauffée très agréable. Maria nous a très bien accueillis et s'est montrée très disponible. Je recommande cette location

Séjour réussi dans une magnifique villa au calme

Nous garderons un excellent souvenir de notre semaine en Dordogne dans cette magnifique villa située dans un endroit calme. Tout s‘est parfaitement déroulé de l’arrivée au départ! Les chambres fraîches malgré la canicule, le billard, la piscine, le grand jardin et la terrasse sont des atouts de cette villa. Sans oublier la disponibilité du propriétaire et des personnes locales s’occupant de la maison / piscine. Un séjour réussi pour toute la famille! Merci Bruno

Belle demeure pleine de charme !

2 semaines de pur bonheur : emplacement idéal pour se reposer avec cette maison sans vis-à-vis avec un grand jardin entouré d'arbres et une grande piscine pour se détendre apres une journée de visites ! Pleins de sites à voir à proximité ! Et le billard est très appréciable aussi ! Merci aussi à Maria et son mari ainsi qu'à Manu pour leur gentillesse et leur disponibilité pour résoudre quelques problèmes de serrure et de filtration de piscine ...

Heerlijk rustig locatie

Heerlijk zwembad in een rustige omgeving. Echt middenin de natuur. Het buitengedeelte is perfect. De woonkamer binnen met snookertafel is ook erg leuk. Het huis zelf is een ouder huis, maar prima gerenoveerd. Contact met Bruno, de eigenaar, is erg prettig. Je kan hem alles vragen als je iets zoekt in de omgeving. Verder is het een klein stukje rijden naar een stadje (10 min). Bakker 3 minuten rijden.

Beautiful house, well equipped and amazing pool

We had a fabulous week in St Aubin exploring the Dordogne. The house was great, plenty of room for the family. It was well equipped, although we ate out most nights so didn't try the kitchen out much. It was 38°C most of the week, and at night it was very hot, but during the day the amazing pool was indispensable. My 11 year old grew gills by the end of the week! We spent many hours in the pool which is large enough to swim in. The pool table was well used and the outside seating area made for some relaxing afternoons reading. We explored the area, Domme, Cahors, Castenaud and canoed down the Dordogne which was fab - a great 1/2 day. Stephanie, the lovely lady who welcomed us was great and listed some nice local restaurants for us and was on hand for questions. My only slight criticism was that "home and away" took a substantial deposit when booking was made (1500 Euro) - this was 6 months before we visited - a little excessive I think to pay so much so far upfront. But overall, we had a great time in a lovely peaceful house with a fab pool. We would definitely recommend it.

Maison très agréable

Nous avons passé 2 semaines très agréables dans cette maison pleine de charme, qui est parfaitement située pour rayonner sur tous les sites de Dordogne et du Lot tout en étant au calme. Nous avons beaucoup aprécié notre séjour, la maison est accueillante, très bien orientée et super équipée! La piscine, grande et chauffée a été appréciée autant des enfants que des grands. L'accueil très sympathique de Stéphanie qui vous renseigne également sur tous les "bons plans" est à souligner et les propriétaires sont très accueillants. À recommander vivement et au plaisir d'y retourner !
