Hot tub, views and cleanliness were really good. Supplies, lack of stores to buy good groceries lacked. If we were told of that, then we could have stopped in a bigger town.

The only thing I would recommend is to have all the "house" rules/checkout in the book. Also, the button for the whirlpool jets is hard to turn on. Otherwise, it was one of the best Aribnb we've ever stayed in. To have a pool and hot tub that we could use daily was AMAZING!!

Totally enjoyed our stay!Ark was only 15 minutes away and the Creation Museum was about 40 min away.Kitchen was fully equipped, which made it easy to fix our meals. We used the grill for steaks one night.Beds were very comfortable as well.Home was very cozy! And we loved the new staircase that the owners installed, rather than the spiral staircase that was shown on the website when we first booked!!!Host was very nice and responsive to the one question I had.Highly recommend!!!

It’s a very nice weekend. Very nice place donors are very easy and nice to deal with. We’ll definitely seek out the cabin again. Next time we’re in that part of Kentucky.

Book this place!!! But please don't take my spot when I come back! This will not disappoint, but rather provide a home away from home that is clean, comfortable, relaxing, inviting, and provides rest or recreation, with kayaking, fishing, swimming, hot tub, grilling, roasting hotdogs or melting s'mores over the fire. My husband and I brought three of my students from school to the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. Though they enjoyed those they could not wait to get back to the lake house for obvious reason stated above. Thank you for this getaway!

Pros : Anjanette was an excellent host. She always answered quickly with helpful information. The lake and outdoors were beautiful. At one point, we opened the doors and enjoyed the lake from indoors. We did walk down to the pier once. The mattresses on the beds were comfortable. There was Scripture everywhere throughout the house. We loved that. Cons: There are 2 bathrooms, both on the main floor. So there are no bathrooms upstairs where there are 3 beds. During the night, if you have to get up, you have to walk down 15 stairs to get to the bathroom. Also, there's one closet in the house-- in the main suite. It is small and has lots of life jackets in it, so there's not much room for clothes. There's also not much counter space in the bathrooms. The main bathroom has towels and wash cloths taking up the left side of the vanity, which doesn't leave much space for toiletries. You have to travel at least 30 minutes for any entertainment. There's no info about what to do with the dirty dishes-- no dishwasher. It turns out you have to wash the dishes and put them away before you leave. I couldn't find the outdoor trash can for the check out. No security system.

We stayed here to visit the Ark& Creation Museum. Easy access to the interstate but far enough removed to have a little peace and quiet. The neighborhood is a little sad. But we ALWAY felt safe. Most of the properties are just abandoned camps and that is why it looks so rough. No one to keep them up.

Host is wonderful to work with. We and our children enjoyed the long weekend and are already looking to book next year. Between the lake view, pool and hot tub we had a very relaxing weekend full of water and games.
