The Honey Hut, Think of “ On Golden Pond"
The perfect honeymoon or family-friendly quality getaway spot, nestled in the quiet countryside of Mt. Sterling, KY - with a beautiful lake just steps from your back porch. Take your family or friends canoeing, paddle-boating, fishing. End your stay with a campfire in the fire pit to make this an unforgettable getaway.
The space
Request "The Honey Bee Tour" for just $20 more per group, in which the owner will allow your group an up-close and personal view of the honey bees, as well as an explanation about why the honey bees are so important, and why/how we should protect them. When the bees are in season, we might even have honey available for purchase!
Guest access
All the water sports stuff, canoe, paddleboards, and paddle boat is included in your rental. We ask that you use life saving devices when on the water playing .
Other things to note
We have a short list of house rules posted in the cabin. Please let us know when you check out so that we can start cleaning. It takes us at least 3 hours between guests not counting laundry . We wash all bed linens every time .

Beekeeper who also has a neat country cabin I built. I put the best stuff in the cabin I could find. I was not planning on renting it out when I built it. It was just going to be for me and my family.
