Good selection of amenities were provided. Property was clean and cozy. We enjoyed being close to amenities. Only con was the 26 steps to get to the property.
We stayed here while visiting our daughter at college. We had all of the necessities and few extras! Very clean and very comfy bed! The one downside to the property is although it is pet friendly it is little bit of a walk to grass for pet potty but still doable. There is traffic noise but again part of the downtown vibe. We would stay again.
Great downtown apartment—walked to dinner and breakfast. Comfortable bed and clean accommodations.

We were in town for a family wedding just outside of Paris and this was a perfect spot to stay for the weekend….close to everything we needed, even had a gym nearby for drop-in workouts….sweet little apartment a la “Victorian”, very spacious, very comfortable King bed - only downside was the sound of late night vehicles on the Main Street below.
Property is spacious and period architecture. Road noise can be a bit much unless you are an early riser. Very close to Secretariat park (walking) and Claiborne farms. Easy drive to Kentucky Horse Park. Upstairs above business on the Main Street of Paris. Enjoyed the space and location.

Than you Johanna, please come back and see us! Ron
Loved staying here. Its downtown with the excitement of a small town but very close to restaurants and horse farms. Very clean, owner is quick to answer any questions and i would definitely stay here again!!
We enjoyed our stay here very much. The town is very quiet and quaint, with enough good places to eat for a great weekend stay. We spent most of our days in Lexington for business, but really enjoyed coming back to the quiet of this little town in the evenings. And the horse farms surrounding it are absolutely beautiful.

Mary, we are so happy you stayed with us and would like for you to come back and visit soon:)
We came out for the storytelling festival and would love to return for that again, and to see more of this amazing bluegrass area. The apartment is superb, best location possible for the downtown events here (keep in mind it’s a small town!). Also very close to Lexington. Good restaurants and bakeries within 2 blocks. The apartment is spacious, clean, modern, and light filled. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook, and there’s plenty of room. I would stay here anytime!

Awesome facilities, very clean. Comfortable bed. Street noise from vehicles driving by was a little worrisome, but that not the facility's fault. The only issue was the outside entrace door handle/lock. The tumbler needs to be replaced...just kept going round and around and would not unlock.
Our stay was short and sweet and so much better than the hotel we usually stay in. Ron was a wonderful communicator, everything was exactly as pictured. The downtown apartment was so homey and lovely. We will definitely stay again!!!

About the host
Hosted by RON PERRY
Hello! I'm Ronnie Perry. I and my wife, Erin are Kentucky natives. We have a love for Paris specifically--both the history and the people and truly love living here. I have been a broker/realtor since the 90's and love history, so the makeover on the post-civil war building apartment was a natural. We have put lots of love and care into this place and are so happy to be able to share it with you!!
Why they chose this property
This was a vision for both of us. We love Paris and wanted to be a part of the downtown renovation and rebirth that has been happening. With streets named after famous horses and horseshoes buried in the sidewalks on Main (Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood, move over!) it was irresistible when the old Fee grocery store came up for sale in 2013. Historic photos grace the interior and hallway of the apartment and the old Fee's Grocery sign that a was originally painted on the side of the building many years ago has been refurbished! We love being part of the downtown scene and contributing to the future of our beautiful area.
What makes this property unique
This apartment is ideal for a romantic get away or mixing pleasure with business in the heart of horse country. With easy access to Lexington, Ky (only 12 miles away down one of the most beautiful stretches of highway anywhere---passing through horse farm after horse farm) or the Kentucky Horse Park---it lets you live in the charm of the small city while affording easy access to big city shopping, performances at Rupp Arena, Keenland Race Track, the Red Mile and more. Of course with 54 working horse farms in Paris and Bourbon County, the heart of the Bluegrass is just outside your door!
