Beautiful home and property! Beautiful views of both sunrise and sunset! The kitchen was incredibly well stocked. Beds were comfortable and hosts were easy to communicate with.
Terrific! Everything was wonderful. My Husband and I brought our 5 grandkids ages 1 to 7, 3 daughters and spouses, and our very best friend. Fresh flowers, plenty of space, 2 ponds to fish. Fresh eggs. Patrick took the kids on a tour. Gave horses peppermints! Hired a photographer to take family photos. Celebrated Papa's 70th. Had an Easter egg hunt. We went to downtown Lexington, Keenland, and Magdalena Horse Farm. Saw all the new baby horses! We all had a great time! Everyone wants to go back to the same house. Cool Antiques, very spacious home. Every amenity was easy to access. Check in and out was simple no stress. Thank you Erin and Patrick! We hope to be back soon.
Property was excellent with horses and chickens. The historic house was welcoming and very comfortable. Owner of the property was very nice and accommodating. Out kids and grandkids loved this place.
We had a terrific stay in Paris, KY at Welcome Hall. The house is beautiful and spacious. The owners were very friendly and answered all of our questions. The horse farm is gorgeous, and we enjoyed the walking path. The house was everything it said it was and more. If we get another chance to be in the area, we will definitely stay here again!
House just breathtaking old home we’ll keep lots of room
It was 10 of us and had room for more
Everything we needed was there plus stuff we didn’t need
I give it a A +
The property was perfect for our family. Home was as described and fully stocked with all the items we needed for our stay. In fact, it was more stocked than other homes we have stayed at. Hosts were there to help us learn about the property and we appreciated them greeting us! Our whole family enjoyed the home and the location. Very private location but still close to all our needs for exploring Kentucky!
This property is perfect. The kitchen is fully equipped, lots of towels and TP in the bathrooms, and fresh flowers throughout the house was the perfect touch. This beautiful house instantly felt like home .
The property owner Patrick was the perfect host. He was attentive and friendly and felt like we have known him forever. Thank you ❤️
We had a fabulous time staying here and attending the LRK3DE. Didn’t spend as much time as we had hoped on property. Hope to come earlier next time snd enjoy everything more. Morning coffee on the deck was great!! Thank you !!
Our family very much enjoyed our stay at Welcome Hall. It is a beautiful home on a beautiful, peaceful property. We enjoyed seeing the horses, feeding the chickens, and being out in the country to spend time together. The house was very spacious and the kids enjoyed exploring it. We loved the very large dining table that was big enough to fit 12 of us. Patrick was so kind to the kids and let them help him feed the animals. Lovely place. Highly recommend!
We were a group of 10 horse people The house was perfect which included outside space with tables and chairs. It was on many acres with horses, dogs, chicken and a cat. The kitchen is well supplied. Plenty of room to eat with everyone at one table. The owner was very easy to get in touch with. More than enough towels and bathroom supplies. We would come here again
This is one of the most enjoyable places you can stay. The house is very comfortable for a family. Patrick is a great host. He is very friendly and helpful. He talked with our grown kids as well as our little grandkids. The animals were great as well. The kids love the horses, chickens, dogs, and the cat. The grandkids love picking eggs. The fishing was good as well. There is a lot of room to roam. We brought our Gator and drove all over the place. The kitchen was well stocked and the fresh flowers in every room was a nice touch We will be going back next year for a 3rd time.
We loved that there was a table to accommodate everyone for meals. Everyone had there own space. We are a horse love family so we enjoyed going out and seeing them.
Big spacious house with full amenities, very well stocked and clean. Working farm with walking paths horses, chickens and dogs. Great place to visit and getaway from hotels.
Patrick the host was awesome.
I am so thrilled to have stayed at Welcome Hall, the home is amazing. It will take you back to a time of elegance and grace. The hosts were very attentive to any questions we had with quick responses. Very accommodating to any group of visitors from old to young, they had it covered. Added bonus was it being a “working” farm, you are surrounded by beautiful horses and be sure to visit the coop and see the unique chickens. I just cannot say enough about this place. Well worth the booking price too!
Our group of 8 guys loved this property. We came on motorcycles to ride the Kentucky hills (which were great!). But we truly appreciated the environment created by Erin and Patrick on their horse farm. It was so peaceful and serene and a great place to relax after a day of riding. With five bedrooms the house provided us the space and beds we needed for 8 guys. And the new modern kitchen was terrific for our breakfast cooking experience. The property was well maintained and very clean. The three car garage gave us ample parking for our bikes overnight, and a place to shine them up each evening after dark. Patrick even provided us with an air compressor when we discovered one of our bikes had a low rear tire. Great service!
We heartily recommend this property for a family or group of any size who wants to be close to Lexington but away from all the hubub!
Welcome Hall is a beautiful home in a quiet setting . The home is immaculate, beds very comfortable and the scenery breathtaking with rolling hills, beautiful horses and gorgeous sunsets. We enjoyed hearing Erin sing and play on guitar “My old Kentucky home”; she has such a lovely voice and made the evening very memorable. Patrick and Erin are so friendly and our group had a wonderful time! Thank you.
I've never stayed in an VRBO quite like this beautiful farm house. We had 11 guys down for a bachelor party and it was absolutely perfect getting away, seeing the farm animals, enjoying a bon fire out back, chatting with Patrick moving horses about the property, tossing the frisbee and walking the property with a bourbon in hand. Their dogs were very friendly and the grounds were beautiful. We really enjoyed our time and hope others can experience something similar! Thank you Erin and Patrick!
Patrick and Erin were wonderful hosts. Erin was there to greet us when we arrived. The property was beautiful, the pictures do not do it justice. We all enjoyed the animals especially the horses!! And the farm fresh eggs were a great touch! We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Patrick and Erin for your hospitality and sharing your beautiful home with us!
11 of us women from our eventing barn came down to Lexington for the Land Rover KY Three Day Event and stayed at Patrick and Erin's amazing farm. The house was so lovely and had everything we needed...plenty of room for all of us, common spaces to hang out and review the experiences of each day and we cannot believe how special it was to stay on this working Thouroughbred farm where we woke up to the nickers of foals every morning and had coffee beside the fence lines with mamas and babies. Patrick went ABOVE AND BEYOND in making our stay special - letting us know when he was going to work with the foals so we could watch - or even help - alerting us to when his vet was there to check the mares, and allowing us free reign to wander the farm and hang out with all of the animals. I've stayed in a LOT of VRBOs and Patrick's farm is top on my list of unique experiences that made the trip for these 11 horse crazy women over the top special. We loved it so much, we've already booked it for next year! Thank you Patrick and Erin!!!!
Loved our stay here! The house & property were great & Patrick & Erin were very attentive & helpful. Enjoyed helping feed the horses. We would definitely recommend to anyone planning on visiting the Lexington area.
Patrick met us the first night to show us everything about his property and the house. The horses are beautiful, and enjoyed watching them run. They will come up to the fence and allow you to pet them. I have not seen my kids outside as much as I did this past weekend ever! It was such a great experience, and WILL be back! Thank you so much Patrick and Erin!!!

It just might be that the description doesn't do the Farm justice. Patrick & Erins home exceeded our expectations in every way. We got the house as a base for Lexington area distillery tours and recreation but spent much more time at the Farm with the horses, the goats, the sheep, and the walks into Clintonville. Thank you both for very magical place, for farm fresh eggs, friendly horses, a family table for 10, and especially sweet sweet Rosie.
