About this property

Small multi-storey house with beautiful roof terrace, involved in village life

The house is located on the edge of the village on a hillside and yet very close to beautiful and on request deserted beaches such as Salema, Figueira, Furnos etc. Parking available, shops after 200m. Not far from Lagos and Sagres, 2 diverse cities with culture and some nightlife.

On the roof terrace you can relax well, sunbathe until afternoons (nudist) and of course barbecue. WC downstairs and upstairs.
The house is not big, has upstairs a large bedroom and a small nursery. Below only a pull-out sofa for 1-2 people, which is not particularly practical or comfortable. The house is ideal and generous for only 3 people!

The residents in the neighborhood are very friendly, open-minded and helpful, but mostly speak only Portuguese and partly English.

Nice

I was travelling with my mom and sister.. We enjoy our stay.. The house is small, basic but it has all what we needed,wanted. We prefer more quite locations than cities so we were happy.. Nice local beaches very near, big towns like Lagos, Sagres or Albufeira easily reachable with the car.. Nice bakery two minutes from the house, Lidl 10minutes.. We would stay here again.

Difficult communication and parking situation

The communication with the host was rather difficult and we didnt get properly informed on the check in and key placement as well as the parking situation. There is no parking slot which belongs to the house and therefore it is sometimes time consuming to get a parking slot. The kitchen was not that clean and the equipment was rather small. The balcony is really cute but it was too windy to stay up there during our stay in august. The main bedroom and the toilets are cute and perfectly fine to use. Overall we would have appreciated a quicker communication as we waited several days for an answer to our email.

Nice house in a calm place!

Excellent house in a small village with everything nearby. The neighbours are excellent and Fatima won some traditional cookies for her help with the keys we left inside (!). The house is good for the winter (salamander) and summer with nearby beaches (Salema and Boca do Rio). Good to go to beach during day, and stay home cooking or resting at night. Intermarché and Gas Station downstreet 300metres. About 12km to Lagos and 15km to Sagres... or something like that. It's not new, it's old, so you have to bear that in mind. I give 5 stars for everything, but there are little things to improve. It needs some just a little more work about some mold smell and some repainted walls. The bed sheets are catching dust in a "open wardrobe" (don't know the exact name in english) They are a little caothic.... too many choices for two beds, hard to figure out the ones that are ok, clean and without holes in it. Too many covers and few sheets. The light in the big bathroom should be better also.

La casetta è adorabile, caratteristica ed essenziale. Tante finestre, molto arieggiata e soleggiata. Camera da letto spaziosa e tanto accogliente. Situata in una zona tranquilla, puoi tenere le porte sempre aperte. Vicinato gentile e disponibile. Un’esperienza magica nel cuore dell’Algarve.

Preço/qualidade - Bom

Cozinha com formigas e limpeza fraca, tendo em conta a taxa que se paga. No entanto, relação preço/qualidade, gostámos da estadia. A TV apenas tem canais alemães e não nos foi dito (somos portugueses)

Formigas na cozinha no verao no Algarve ha sempre quando os hospedes deixam comida aberta la..A limpeza em geral esta normal numa casa antiga e a Tv portug. e complicado e caro, nao vale a pena p poucos alugacoes come temos.

Gemütliches, schön eingerichtetes Haus!

Das Haus hat alles, was man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt braucht und ist schön und praktisch eingerichtet. Die Kommunikation mit Eberhard war angenehm und er war sehr entgegenkommend und hilfreich. Können wir weiterempfehlen!

Hallo Im großen und ganzen war es so ok. Leider war das inventar in die jahre gekommen. Wer keinen luxus brauch und mit der sauberkeit zurcht kommt ist dort gut aufgehoben.Für einen kurztrip ok.

SE TIENE QUE MEJORAR

Tras pagar una tarifa por la limpieza en el alojamiento, la verdad es que entrar con olor a cerrado y humedad, con telarañas en las habitaciones y cocina, e insectos muertos encima de la cama, no habia papel higiénico (tuvimos que comprarlo nosotros), no deberia haber costado tanto o al menos indicar el estado del inmueble. Menos mal que mi familia nos adaptamos a la situación, y la sorpresa que le queria dar a ella lejos de venirse abajo supimos aprovechar para ver Portugal que es muy bonita en lugar de estar en la casa. Por decir Wifi lo que hay es un aparato con la contraseña casi borrada y que al entrar en esa red, te obliga a iniciar sesion con vodafone y no pfrecen la otra contraseña por lo que estuvimos incomunicados. Asi que ruego a los propietarios y web que mejoren las condiciones en lugar de hacer a la gente sentirse estafados. Asi que los nuevos inquilinos ruego den una oportunidad a este alojamiento pero a los dueños y limpiadora ponerle energia para que este todo mejor. Pd. La devolución de esa tarifa hubiese sido una disculpa aceptable

Enttäuschend

Leider war ist das Innenleben des Häuschen in Budens schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Das hätte uns vielleicht nicht so gestört, wenn insbesondere die Küche und das Bad nicht so schlecht gepflegt worden wären, abgenutzte Schränke und Badewanne, Fliesen, die nicht gesäubert waren, verschmutzte Küchenschränke (Spüle und Topfschrank), Spinnweben etc. Hinzu kamen feuchte Wände in der Küche und Wohnzimmer, was oft bei den Häusern im Süden ist. Das haben das schöne Schlafzimmer und die Terrasse leider nicht mehr wett machen können. Die Kommunikation mit der Agentur gestaltete sich außerdem als schwierig.

Leider gibt es manchmal Menschen, die unser nettes Häuschen mit einem 5 Sterne Hotel verwechseln. Wir bemühen uns stets, dass unsere Gäste ein sauberes und gepflegtes Haus vorfinden.

Ein wunderbares kleines Häuschen, in einem zauberhaften Dorf

Im Haus gab es fast alles was man benötigt. Ein scharfes Messer gibt es jetzt auch. Das Dorf liegt ruhig und dennoch nah an einem intermarche und der Bundesstraße. Von dort kommt man spielend leicht an die Strände im Süden. Zu Fuß in etwa 30 min, mit dem Auto in 5 min. Zur Westküste braucht man 15min mit dem Auto. Für zwei bis maximal drei Leute ist die Unterkunft sehr gut geeignet. Alles sehr unkompliziert. Vielen Dank.
