In the warmer months the nearby town of Stamford also has a BRAND NEW community pool and two tennis courts - only 13 minutes away! Open July - Labor Day. Search for the Stamford NY Pool and Robinson Broadhurst Memorial Pool to get updated hours and dates.

After leaving your busy life behind, you weave through canopied roads, past pastoral farms, with the sky stretching above rolling green hills. You turn onto a well-kept dirt road and say hello to the cows on the corner. You continue past a pond made by beavers, maple, and oak, and birch trees, until finally you get to the very end. You turn onto a driveway and at the end of your journey, you find a Cape-Cod style house nestled in 12 acres of resplendent woods, completely private and secluded. Welcome to the Catskills Enchanted Forest!

Nearby are 4 popular ski centers - Belleayre, Plattekill, Hunter and Windham - as well as Bearpen Mountain Sports, an outdoor winter playground offering tubing, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, fat biking and ice skating!

Once you’re settled, you may enjoy picking blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, or black raspberries around the yard if it’s summertime. In the fall, take a walk through our path in the forest to enjoy the reds and golds of the trees, or visit a local farm for apple or pumpkin picking. Winter is perfect for snow-shoeing and wintry walks on the property or drive to a nearby mountain for skiing. In the spring, inhale the scent of the gorgeous flowers all around the yard, and if you’re lucky, you can catch the cherries on the cherry tree before the birds get to them.

For the whole family, there’s a new swing, plenty of lawn games in mint condition (Badminton! Corn toss! Croquet! Tetherball!), a frog pond and fire pit. Spend mornings sipping coffee on the back porch and evenings in front of the grill preparing dinner from the local farmers markets.

Back inside, enjoy feeling like you’re in a chalet! The house is built in the post and beam style: you’ll wake up to stunning high vaulted ceilings, lots of natural light, and plenty of space to relax, play, enjoy the company of friends and family, do yoga, and/or work.

Our kitchen has everything you need to cook, including a fondue maker (cheese or chocolate)!

The house features 3 comfortable bedrooms with all modern furniture and amenities, 2 bathrooms, a living room/kitchen area surrounded by windows and natural light, a modern kitchen, and a separate TV area in the largest upstairs room.
The first bedroom (with queen bed) is downstairs and has an adjacent bathroom with shower. Upstairs, there is a bedroom with two twin beds that can be moved together to make a King (we have a bed insert so that it's comfortable). There's a bathroom with a bathtub/shower. The largest bedroom features a King-sized bed, reading nook, and TV area.

An acoustic guitar is available for you to enjoy, as well as clean yoga mats. Fiber optic internet with a very strong Wifi connection makes working remotely or streaming movies easy.

The basement has been newly converted to a game room - ping pong, foosball table and soft darts!

Owners Jennifer and Matt welcome you to their home. Originally from Los Angeles and New Zealand, Jennifer and Matt have happily called New York home for many years. Jennifer is an arts administrator in the non-profit music world and Matt is a jazz musician, and we're proud parents of a 6 year old. Music has allowed us to travel all over the world, but one of our favorite places on the planet is our home in the Catskills. We love music, good food, yoga and outdoor activities. We hope you'll enjoy it as much as we do! What we love most about the property and surrounding area is that it's a gorgeous escape in nature all year round. Groceries stores, gas stations, shopping, farmers markets and more are all located with 15 to 20 minutes.

You'll need a car for this area. The road to the house is a dirt road that is plowed by the local municipality if it snows. It is a lovely road to walk or run (2 miles roundtrip) and we have a path through the forest that's great for a gentle walk. You can walk, or cross-country ski through different towns on the Catskills Scenic Trail.

Snow is possible October through April. If you are unfamiliar with driving in snow research tips online.

Stays 7 days or more are provided with a starter supply of toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, soap, shampoo, dishwasher detergent, dish soap, laundry soap, propane, cleaning supplies. When the provided supply is gone guests should purchase what they need for the remainder of their stay.

Please review the check in and check out times and make sure they are acceptable for your needs. Early check in and late check out may be available, upon request. There is a $25 per hour fee for approved early check in and late check out.

The neighbors have a right of way on the property to access their land. Though not used all the time, on occasion you may see an ATV or snowmobile go past the house on the trail.

While hunting is not allowed on our property it is on the neighboring lands. Always wear bright colors when walking and hiking during hunting season (October 1 - December 22). Property boundaries are clearly marked and a map of the property will be provided at the house. You can also download an app that shows boundaries.

Check-In and Check-Out: Plan your travel on our listed 4PM arrival and 11AM departure times. Changes in times may be available for an additional fee if possible. Please give at least 24 hours notice for requests, last minute requests may not be possible as cleaning and service schedules are planned in advance.

- We have awesome neighbors; help keep us awesome neighbors too.
- No parties. Only the number of guests on the reservation should be in the house. Let Host know of daytime guests.
- No smoking. If you must smoke, do so outdoors only and extinguish when done then put in the garbage.
- No pets. I know, we love them too.
- No ATV's, snowmobiles, fireworks or firearms.
- Quiet hours 9PM to 8AM, keep outdoor noise to a minimum.
