The property was perfect. Close to town but away far enough away from any neighbors or traffic. I believe this was the nicest VRBO we have stayed in. LeAnn was very helpful.
We stayed 3 nights for our annual golf trip and had a wonderful time. The property was clean and very well appointed. After a day of golf, we enjoyed the fire pit and relaxing, taking the amazing views of the lake. Excellent property!
We stayed with a group of 11, place was spotless, roomy, and stocked with a variety of amenities. Beautiful grounds, outdoor fun. Golfing was nearbyHost was responsive and efficient.
Beautiful home, exactly as depicted in VRBO ! Family vacation was so much fun ! Home had wonderfully stocked kitchen. Lots of toys & kayaks, paddle boards . Loved hanging by the fire pit in the evenings . Perfect spot for a family with young kids ! Our host was so accommodating as well !
Beautiful gardens and quiet grounds. Sounds of the loons and waves slowly rolling. Super clean and well stocked kitchen. Kayaks and paddle boards were used daily. Clear beach water. Family friendly with lots of games and art supplies. A lovely home. Planning on returning!
Our extended family (10 adults and 6 kids) had an amazing week! The house was extremely clean, organized, and stocked with every little thing we could think of. There was plenty or room in the house to spread out. We used the kayaks, paddle boards, and swim platform everyday. The storage room had tons of life jackets and sand toys for the kids, along with a corn hole set. The lake was very peaceful the week we were there, typically there were 0-1 boats on the water at a time. We rented a pontoon boat from Action Rentals for 2 days, the our kids enjoyed tubing around the lake. Fishing was also great throughout the week. We can’t wait to return, thank you so much for sharing your gorgeous home with us!

Thank you Jessica for the kind words. I'm so happy you and your family had a wonderful time. I love it when our little slice of paradise provides a place for families to come together to make beautiful memories!
Amazing house in an incredible location. The host was extremely quick to answer any questions I had and reached out about any information they thought I needed. Also, a few subtle things like having a fresh bag of Starbucks coffee, a bottle of wine, firewood and fire starter for bonfires just helped add to our overall experience. If weather would have allowed, plenty of provided lake toys would have also added to our trip. This was our 13th annual golf trip and from this point forward where we stay will not be in question for hopefully many years to come!
Lots of room for the 13 of us, but good for 15. Our family enjoys the sun and the paddleboards and kayaks which was there for us. A couple of fishermen went the week with no bits, but that could happen anywhere. Left i-phone behind and hostess jumped right on it to fed ex back to us. Myself and a couple of sports fans missed the golf open, whished they had streaming TV u-tube. On the other side, no live TV give us more family bonding-and nothing wrong with that.
This rental was truly amazing!! We had a group of 10 adults celebrating a birthday, and everyone was more than comfortable. The owners have really thought of everything to make you feel right at home. Not only was the kitchen stocked with everything you need, but there were so many extras around the house. Such as firewood, beach towels, games, kayaks, paddleboard even sunscreen and bug spray. The outdoor space is unbelievable we really enjoyed afternoon playing cornhole and kayaking. The location is perfect. Only 5 min away from everything but once you get to the house you feel like you’re at your own private lake. The owners were amazing with communication and even provided ideas of things we could to on a bad weather day. None of us had one bad thing to say and all agreed it was the bed house we rented and will be back for sure!!
We are a group of 4 families that has been renting lake houses for the last 7 years and this has been the best house we stayed in by far. Our group was 8 adults and 8 kids 6 and under. There is tons of room in the kitchen for meal prep and a spacious pantry. The large table and counter seating provided lots of space. Beautiful view out of the large family room windows. The large basement had tons of room for kids to play and curl up to watch a late night movie. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need.
There was a great sand area where kids could play in the sand and swim in shallow water or jump off the pier and swim out to the floating dock for more swimming and relaxing. We made use of the kayaks and paddle boards and found it very easy to rent a boat in the area that could be docked at the pier.
The adults were able to golf close by and explore wineries. The kids liked the hiking, elk viewing and call of the wild museum. The host was very responsive and easy to reach by text with any questions. We had a beautiful, relaxing, fun week and plan on coming again!
The whole experience was exceptionally good. Our host LeAnn was prompt with responses, including when the first arrivers in our party didn't realize there was a binder with answers to any questions and texted the host (embarrassing, but LeAnn was gracious)! The home is clean, comfortable, well-decorated, and the views are breathtaking. We made a fire one night and s'mores, and will have fond memories forever. And a few people in our party kayaked, what a great bonus! Our family had gathered together for a long weekend to honor my mom who had passed recently, and the home was perfect. It felt like home, where we could catch up with each other and reminisce about Mom. We hope to go back when we have a little more time to spend in Gaylord.
The home and property was absolutely beautiful, way beyond our expectations! Leann was a great host, very easy and timely communication. Her home was the perfect place to celebrate. Would absolutely recommend to friends / family!
We loved our stay at this beautiful lake home. It is perfect for groups-our three families fit with room to spare, and the kids loved the bunk room! The house has high end finishes and is well appointed. The beach is very nice and sandy, with nice kayaks and SUPs to use. Beautiful views from the bed rooms and living room plus a great kitchen, deck and fire pit. Just wonderful!
First, let me say I do not post reviews, but thought this was warranted. Rented this home for our annual Women's Trip which started with our mom and my three sisters over 35 years ago. It has grown to include nieces, great nieces, and nieces in laws. Over those 35 years we have utilized many rentals and there are only a handful we can say were positively wonderful – this being one of them. Photos depicted the house perfectly. We absolutely loved everything about the rental - the home itself, location, cleanliness, the homey feeling, and amenities. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The kitchen was amazing to work in, one of the most well stocked kitchens we have ever used. Beds and pillows were comfortable.
Our host Liann was fantastic to work with - so kind, friendly and accommodating. Had many questions before we rented, and her responses were quick and detailed. One issue we had through no fault of the host; the cell reception is not good but texting of course was fine. Would we come back again – ABSOLUTELY! Thank you Liann for helping to make our trip so awesome.
Great House! Well stocked. The only issue we had was the long icy private road to get to the house. We got stuck on the ice twice and had to get towed out. Not conducive for a snowmobile trailer. Had to use the snowmobiles the get checked in. But again everything else was great. I would go back in the summer.
Had girls weekend at cottage. 10 girls with plenty of space. House was very clean Property! Nice amenities (like condiments, shampoo, conditioner, and soap).
Property is gorgeous with nice trails. Beautiful to see fall colors. Lake was clear and we enjoyed kayaking (when it wasn't raining). During rainy times went into Gaylord to shop and the elk viewing area!
The girls had good time at wine tasting! Recommend this property to anyone with a group or larger family.
The property was beautiful, everyone who stayed with us was so surprised at how nice and accommodating the cottage was. The lakefront views were beautiful and the fire pit was an excellent place to hang out to end the night!
The host LeAnn was fantastic and communicated in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend this location for your next stay in the Gaylord area!
The property was just as the photos showed. If y’all have littles this house is perfect. The owner has a comfortable lower level where kids and their parents can sleep with privacy. It even has its own laundry room! There are games galore which made the littles wake up time quiet as it was the first thing they headed too without waking everybody up!
The living area was spacious with beautiful lake views. There was a picnic table outside the side door next to a grill for a second eating space besides the dining room. There were steps down to a landscaped fire pit with seating and another level to the dock and beach. There were kayaks and sand toys for guests use. We rented a pontoon for knee boarding which was fun. The lake is small so one day was enough.
The thing that impressed me the most was the hosts attention to detail and cleanliness. This home was spotless and the furnishings were tasteful and looked new.
We had a wonderful holiday and highly recommend this property ❤️
Plenty of space for bigger families. Appreciated condiments provided. Very close to Gaylord for all your needs.
This was one of the nicer lake homes we have stayed at.
There were quite a few stairs to get to the lake, but the layout was very nice!
My family and I (four generations) rent a home every year for one week in the summer and this home was by far the best home we have ever had the pleasure of staying at. The upstairs area is an open concept that allows everyone to be involved with whatever is happening and the huge island offers a great place for the kids to sit and eat at. There are several porches outside where you can sit and enjoy the beautiful views of the lake and the sandy beach is the perfect area for the kids to play. The owner of the home was incredible to work with throughout the entire process. She answered all my questions in a quick and friendly manner, and everything was exactly as she described it. My family and I made a ton of memories that we will look back upon for years to come. Thank you, LeAnn for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home!
Our group of 3 families (6 adults and 7 children) absolutely loved this home and property! The lake was so much fun to fish from, swim and explore with the various paddle boards and kayaks available. The home is beautiful, very clean and very well appointed. The owner LeAnn was easy to get in touch with and very responsive to any inquiries. Literally, nothing negative to say!
