Our Stay

We dealt with some miscommunication during the check in process. We were asked several times what time we would arrive at the apartment for check in and still had to wait about 35 min for someone to let us in. The apartment itself was okay. The cleaner that was used was very potent and lingered for the duration of our stay which was unpleasant. As far as cleanliness goes it was not up to the standards I would expect. Details were ignored. There was also a case of flowers in the unit that had been there way too long. They smelled bad and had bugs coming out of the water they were sitting in. The listing made this apartment seem much nicer than it really was. Also, I found it very unprofessional and uncomfortable that we were asked to pay for the apartment upon arrival. They needed payment directly, avoiding VRBO, which I found to be odd. The location was good, but would not stay here again.

We are very sorry that you did not lIke your stay. You review was more about the fact that your train was delayed and you had to wait for 15 minutes and not 35 minutes. And the fact that you had to pay on site your reservation which is not scandalous. Regarding the cleanliness our staff checked the flat and everything was fine Next time try to be honnest

communication needs improvement

We enjoyed the apartment, but cleaning and mean of communications need improvement. The toilet was messy when we checked-in. The woman who gave us the key, asked us to empty the trash when leaving, but did not know where the bins are. We tried to contact the agency for a couple of things but did not get any contact details in advance. The only way was via the platform, which did not work properly at that time. The platform is used by the agency to post their own interests only. questions from our side kept unanswered. The fixed line was not answered either. Not to have a mobile number, or whatsapp conversation is really bad. Other agencies do better. Nevertheless, the location and apartment itself were worth it
