LOVED IT AND THE KIDS DID TOO!

This was a great location. Right on the beach. The pool is heated and is great for kids and adults. There is a shallow side of the pool perfect for young kids. Castaway cafe is a perfect place to get a drink or lunch while at the pool or beach. There were plenty of dishes, silverware, salt, pepper, toilet paper, paper towels, and cookware.. The management company is a delight to work with.

Nice condo with seaview

We have stayed in various condos at Maui Kaanapali Villas many times. Condo A 318 is very beautiful and comfortable. Everything was clean and we were also happy about the two single beds, which was not clear from the internet description and the photos. The small balcony is advantageous and you can enjoy the sea view. However, it is sometimes very noisy due to the traffic from the highway.

Everything was spot on but it would have been nice to know we were on a 3rd floor as picture shows beach really close as if it were on ground level. Overall we were completely satisfied!

We loved the view and the full size kitchen. We were there because one of our family friends is passing from stage 4 lung cancer and after very emotional days we had a beautiful view and property to come back to so we could process and unwind . Thank you

Perfect location

This listing is EXACTLY as it is pictured and described! Having the kitchen area was a plus as we could have breakfast, snacks and drinks readily available. It is clean and has what you need. The balcony is very small and you can squeeze out there if you try. The view is very nice to have regardless. We traveled all over the island and the beach right in front of the property is one of the best for snorkeling, swimming and catching the sunset! Morning complimentary coffee and tea along with fresh beach towels whenever you need them was awesome---you go through a lot of towels. Kids enjoyed ping pong competitions in the lobby. Beds very comfortable and it was quiet each night. We loved that the property was in an area that was not super crowded like some of the others. Parking was easy no matter what time of day we came and went. Lots of walkable destinations via the beach walk in either direction and a complementary trolley for those times you want to ride to Whaler's Village or other location on the loop it travels. Overall it is a laid back location with just enough of what you need and within a short distance of everything else. What a special place!

clean but basic and dated

We have stayed in many different units at Kaanapali Villas over the past 15 years. This unit was the most basic, minimally furnished and decorated of any we have rented. The partial view of the ocean was nice, but the noise from the highway made leaving the doors open at night impossible due to the traffic noise. We arrived quite late the first day and when we opened the dishwasher the following day found a few inches of water and a lot of bleach in the bottom of the dishwasher. We turned the dishwasher on to empty the water (and the overpowering smell of bleach) which resulted in water and mounds of suds pouring out all over the floor from under the dishwasher. We called the maintenance department who came up with a shop vac and were able to, in addition to many bath towels, clean up all the water. Since this is a private unit it was necessary to contact the rental manager whose number we were able to get from VRBO. Left a message, no response. Contacted VRBO again who then e-mailed the owner and were told they would send a plumber the next day. We requested someone from Kaanapali Villas to be present when the plumber came since we had plans for the following day. When we returned at the end of the day there was no evidence that anyone had come to the unit and no way to tell if the dishwasher had been fixed. We didn't want to take a chance of flooding the floor again so we just hand washed the dishes for the 12 days we were there. I left a message for the property manager at the number VRBO gave us but never got a response. The kitchen faucet was very loose and also needed repair which was also mentioned. So, yes we will return to Kaanapali Villas, but not to that unit.

Excellent Studio

Loved this room and small resort property. The room was beautiful, well appointed and the owners went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed! Beds were so comfortable with high end bedding. Steps from a restaurant on the property and steps from the gorgeous beach. The property was very pretty and well maintained. We will most definitely stay in this room again! Thanks for a great vacation!!

Maui Trip to Kaanapali Villas

Great stay at the Villas. We had a little issue at the start with our room not being what we signed up for. However, our property manager Marianna was awesome! She got right on it and took care of us to the BEST!

Great Holiday Stay in Lahaina
