You will fall in love with this cozy home on the Alexandria chain of lakes. This spacious 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom home is nestled in a quiet neighborhood on beautiful Lake Victoria and is also close to schools, shopping and restaurants. The main floor features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and great kitchen with dining room table, cozy family room and an awesome sun room with fireplace and gorgeous lake views. Downstairs is a walkout basement with more stunning lake views, another family room, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and game area with a ping pong table. The large deck off the back faces the sunrise and is perfect for relaxing with your morning coffee or listening to the loons with a glass of wine in the evening. Follow the attractive pave stone path and take only a few steps down to the lake shore and start enjoying all that living on the lake has to offer. Paddle boat, paddle board, kids kayaks are there for use. Fishing is great right off the dock!
This is a great place for a family get away, girls weekend, fishing trip etc. Spacious enough for 2 families to enjoy. Very kid friendly with a rainbow playground, house stocked with games and ping pong table.
Once the lake freezes over enjoy the ice skating area for hockey or figure skating or punch a hole through the ice for some ice fishing. The house also has garage parking and a big driveway with plenty of space for boat parking.

We couldn't have found a better location on the lake or more comfortable accommodations for our family. The property had everything we needed, the kids loved fishing on the dock, and we made wonderful memories!

Good family getaway

Worked well for our group. Roomy house with several living room areas for space for all. The fireplace and ping pong table were hits with our clan. A few minor maintenance repairs needed and we were unable to get network TV for football game. Good location, would be great spot for summer getaway too.

House was perfect for the group we had. We played golf all day. It was nice to all be in one house instead of seperate hotel rooms. will definitely book again if we chose the same area for next year.

Family Vacation

Very quiet on a dead end drive. Lake is nice for recreation with good fishing. The kids loved it. If you have older guests there are quite a bit of stairs to the lake. The lakes all connect, which is great to explore or fish in a boat, however if you have a pontoon you will not be able to get through the tunnels to leave the lake. Overall family loved the property and would stay again.

Great house for a family get-away

This was a great house for our family get-away. Plenty of bedrooms and the house was clean. We had our grandkids of 6, 4 & almost 2. The playset in the back was used multiple times everyday. And the firepit was used almost every evening roasting marshmallows and relaxing around. The only disappointment was the dock area. The weeds and grass in the water made swimming and fishing impossible. I also understand however how difficult that is to maintain. This wasn't a huge problem because there were plenty of fishing docks in the area that we used so the little one's could fish. And they had several opportunities to swim during the week at the area beaches. Overall it was a great vacation!

Disappointed

The neighbors are wonderful, the lake was beautiful the house was not. I wish I could post the pictures - tub shower curtain had 4 inches of mildow, most towels were worse than my rags, air duct vents were plugged with dirt, floors were very dirty - especially in corners and along baseboards, layers of dust under furniture, cabinets not cleaned to place our things in, kitchen lacked many items, only 1 large fry pan and handle was barely attached so unsafe, had to buy some pans for baking since grill was unsafe to use, kitchen faucet broken, back patio door did not lock, several beds squeaked so bad and blankets not freshly washed, food crumbs left under sofa cushions, had to clean the washing machine before we could wash towels. I realize it is a lake and didnt expect perfection but even my husband complained. The owners did refund $100 but considering we paid over $4000 for 5 nights I was not satisfied. The owners did come the first night to spray a HUGE wasp nest that we were told they were aware of over a week before. We had 2 one year olds with us. The 1st night they were very dirty from crawling in the house and we were very aware of the layers of dirt throughout house and bugs/flies left in corners and window ledges. I don't like to be negative but want to be honest. I have several pictures and I always check reviews when i consider a place. If you are not worried with the condition of a place then this would be a fine rental.

Memorial Weekend 2023

We were in Alexandria to attend my mother's memorial service and other family gatherings. Consequently, we did not have much time to enjoy our stay at the property. If we had more time, we would have been able to take advantage of all that the property had to offer.
