The location is ideal for language stays, close to the Institut de Touraine and CLE.

The Bords de Loire tram stop is 100m away and serves Tours TGV station and the city center in 10 minutes. You can park in the underground public parking located in front of the residence.

Check-in hours are from 4 PM to 7 PM. A supplement may be requested for any arrival after 7 PM5.

Great location for exploring the Loire valley

The property was as described and the property manager was very prompt and punctual with all communications. It is a clean and thoughtfully designed apartment with lots of amenities packed into the space. The kitchen is well appointed with lots of cooking and dining tools. The location next to the river is great. There is an outdoor bar by the river that was a bit noisy into the early hours for a couple of nights during our stay, but other than that it is in a very central yet peaceful location.

Spartan stay

If you're booking this place for its proximity to Vieux Tours, be aware that is all this property has to offer. The rest of the accommodations are sparse. Expect zero ventillation, hardly any soap or detergent (especially shampoo), barely any toilet paper, and little in the way of assistance from the owners. You should also be aware that parking is 12.30/day and there is no direct access from the underground parking to the apartment. The lift was out when we stayed, so we had to haul all our luggage up three flights of stairs just to get to ground level. This isn't the owners' fault, but you should be aware. I would not recommend renting this place in the summertime, as there is no provision for climate control and keeping the windows open at night invites the cacophony of city sounds (construction, motorbikes, drunkards) into your room.

Thank you for your comment. As clearly stated in the listing, the apartment does not have air conditioning. It also does not include private parking; the rate you mentioned refers to the nearest public parking facility. We provide a starter supply kit, in line with standard vacation rental practices — this is not a hotel service. We responded promptly to all your inquiries during your stay. The elevator breakdown was beyond our control, as it concerns the building's management. The apartment is located in the heart of the city center, which is one of its main advantages. However, it is very well soundproofed, and none of our previous guests have ever complained about city noise. Lastly, we regret the consistently aggressive attitude you displayed throughout your stay. We encourage all guests to read listings carefully before booking to avoid misunderstandings.
