Villa Dans la Fraicheur D'un Verger, vue sur la Sicile, Plages à5 min

We are renting out our Calabrian villa (at the tip of the Italian “boot,” across from Sicily) located in Capo Vaticano, near Tropea (one of the region’s most beautiful towns with its magnificent Baroque palaces), facing the Aeolian Islands. We’re 80 km from Sicily; from the house, you can admire snow-capped Mount Etna and the smoking Stromboli.
The nearest airport (a 45-minute drive) is Lamezia Terme. Most of our guests choose to drive and take a journey in stages to explore the peninsula.
The landscape of Calabria is very similar to that of Corsica, as it features peaks over 2,000 metres, rocky coastlines, and both pebble and sandy beaches.
The house is on two levels and consists of a large living room-kitchen, three bedrooms (two double beds, two bunk beds), two bathrooms (one on each floor), and two covered terraces overlooking the garden. The house is equipped with Wi-Fi and a TV. It is surrounded by lush greenery, as it is situated in the centre of a vast orchard of pear, olive, and caper trees.
Our villa is situated on a hillside overlooking the sea, cooled by a gentle breeze as soon as the sun sets—it’s very comfortable to sleep here in the summer.

The nearest beaches are 300 metres away (the sandy beaches of Santa Maria di Ricadi, a small fishing village where you’ll find the main shops and a few seafood restaurants).
