🌵Live Centered w/ Hot Tub, Fire Pit & BBQ In Joshua Tree & Walk to Town!🌵

Our thoughtfully designed desert retreat is centrally located between Downtown Joshua Tree and the Joshua Tree National Park. The house is in the perfect location to enjoy all that the town has to offer and still be able to enjoy the relaxing desert scenery in our outdoor space. We invite you to lounge around in our hammocks and enjoy the beautiful night sky.

There are 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with comfortable sleeping arrangements for 5 people; 2 queen beds and a large couch.

Make the most of your relaxing desert getaway with our outdoor amenities including hammocks, swinging chairs, a stargazing platform and a fire pit.

Hiking trails are minutes away and its a quick walk to all the unique restaurants and shops that downtown Joshua Tree has to offer.




• OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

• RENTAL AGREEMENT
There will be a rental agreement sent out that will need a signature to complete the reservation

• AC and HEATING
The cooling/heating system for the house is an HVAC unit. You'll have no problem keeping cool or warm throughout the entire house.

• POOL
The pool is a cowboy tub that can be filled up with water for your use. It is not operable during the winter months and is only available April - October, it is cold-water-only. These are meant for soaking in and are a "desert pool".

• FIRE
Due to the location and a current fire ban there is a strict no outside fire policy. If it is discovered that you have started an outdoor wooden fire, in a fire pit, using fireworks or other open fire means your rental agreement will be terminated and you will be asked to leave.
The propane fire pit at the house is allowed to be used all year round

• IDENTITY VERIFICATION
You will receive a text or email from Guest Ranger that will ask you to verify your identity and submit a picture of a government issued ID and a selfie. This information will be used to verify that the booking guest matches the credit card used and to help reduce any issues with identity theft. This process is mandatory to complete the booking. The data is protected in a hash-encrypted vault following data security standards including GDPR. Data-input in the vault is encrypted in a two-way function where information is scrambled using an encryption key and unscrambled later using a decryption key. On top of that, we use hashing to add an extra layer of security using a one-way function where a unique message digest is generated from an input file or a string of text. No keys are used.

• GUESTS
You are not permitted to have any guests on the property beyond those included in your rental agreement unless you request and receive permission from us. That includes day guests and over night guests.

The property was as advertised. We did not use the hot tub but did verify that it was on and hot. My only comment is that there was nothing in the house besides some olive oil and salt and pepper. Most rentals we've stayed in at least leave what others have left behind. More just an alert to other travelers that if they are expecting to find spices or even a roll of foil to save leftovers, bring your own. We do understand that each owner has reasons for doing this or not.

Perfect location for visiting Joshua Tee National Park. Just blocks from the visitors center. The house was perfect for the two of us. AC was cold, pool and spa were great after a day of exploring and we loved the large covered patio for morning coffee.

Overall a good stay. Very close to the Joshua Tree NP. The neighborhood/street looks a little rough driving in but we found it to be very quiet and safe. The house was missing a few of the things pictured. There were no chairs on the pool patio, and a large section of fence down the side by the grill and hot tub is missing which meant that anyone driving by could see you in the hot tub.

Clean, nicely decorated, great location to the park entrance. Really enjoyed the fire pit and star gazing in the hot tub. Only thing is there was just one dull knife so we couldn’t carry out the cooking we anticipated. Besides that all was great and I’d stay here again!

Great, clean and renovated home near J Tree Park

We had a great stay here, the house was updated and nicely decorated - and there was coffee! The yard was fully fenced and secure for our dog which is a huge plus. Walkable to the main drag (j tree coffee co, etc) and close to park entrance. Would book here again! I didn't need to communicate with the property manager so no notes on that front.

The property is not as nice as pictures show. There was junk laying around in the side yard and front yard. Inside needs to be cleaned better. All of the throw rugs were dirty. Windows were very dirty. Blinds were dirty. Beds were comfortable. Management team was responsive.

Beautiful Vacation!

This place was perfect for us! It looked exactly as advertised in the posting. The house itself was comfortable and nicely decorated to create a good atmosphere. The amenities (full kitchen, tv, good WiFi) we’re all we needed. The hot tub and pool were so nice to have and we loved the hammocks. The house is in a great location with east access to both the park and some really cute shops/eateries in Joshua Tree. You could walk to the downtown area! We loved going on early morning hikes then coming back to relax by the pool in the afternoon. You’re also a pretty short drive to Palm Springs which we did in one afternoon. The hosts are responsive and kind. I would absolutely stay here again!

Relaxing stay in the desert

This Vrbo more than served its purpose for our visit to Joshua Tree! I appreciated the special touches like extra towels and blankets available in the house. It was really nice to have the washer/dryer as well. The pool was actually cool and perfect for the hot afternoons, while the hot tub felt soooo great after a long day of hiking. Also, the hot tub heat was already set to 99 when I arrived so I only had to raise it a little and then turn it down when we wouldn’t be using it. This was so nice because in my experience at other Vrbos, the tub is always cold and needs at least 8-12hrs to heat up. The only real con was that the house could probably use a deep clean but I also recognize it’s in the desert and I’m sure they don’t deep clean after every guest. Additionally, it was very clean where it counted- beds, toilet/shower, kitchen, and pool/hot tub. Lastly, the location was great, about a 5 minute drive to the park entrance and walking distance to the visitor center and stores/restaurants. Overall, we loved using all the amenities this home had to offer and would definitely stay here again. Thank you!!

Joshua Tree Basecamp

Great location for access to Joshua Tree NP. House in a residential neighborhood with empty lot on one side and a hoarder on the other. Neighborhood is very quiet. House is clean and decorated in a mid century style. Has a nice shaded patio and. Nice gas bbq. There were some problems with the house. Not all the jets in hot tub were working. Knob on gas fire pit was stripped so unable to use fire pit. Lights in laundry area not working. Only one kitchen knife which was very dull. Internet intermittently stopped working resulting in having to reboot router several times. Air return for hvac system was covered in a thick coat of dust. Contacted property managers about these issues and they said they would be addressed. We notified them on a Sunday and by time of departure on the following Tuesday we hadn’t seen anyone. Overall a good place but management needs to spend a little more time on maintenance.

Perfect place to land with dogs.
