The Loggerhead Cabin and Shell Shack hangout at Turtle Cove Cabins

Enjoy our waterfront rustic cabin privately nestled less than a mile from downtown Ozark Arkansas. Also included is the use of The Shell Shack...a separate hangout and game room with its own deck overlooking the water. The Cabins at Turtle Cove are directly on the water that leads to the Arkansas River where you can enjoy fishing and water sports. Boat docks are available and are just a short drive away. Nearby activities and attractions include fishing, trail riding, hunting, wineries and vineyards, hiking, canoeing, and waterfalls. We are near the Mulberry River, mountain ATV/UTV trails, wineries, and Mount Magazine State Park.
Please note that this property is not handicap accessible. Swimming is not allowed at the property. The water at the property is the back water of the Arkansas River which can have strong undercurrent and can be very dangerous.

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Place used towels in shower or bathtub. Leave all used beds unmade.
Please make sure there is no loose trash in the large trash can outside by the Shell Shack. All trash must be in bags for trash pickup.
Wash dirty dishes.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No swimming at the cabin property. This is part of the Arkansas River and could potentially have strong undercurrents.
No fireworks.

Very nice stay

The property was very clean and well provisioned. Excellent place to relax and sit out by the fire or watch the water birds in the cove. Also nice and close to the wineries and restaurants in Ozark and Altus. Great weekend getaway!

We did not have children with us but I would not recommend it for young children. The exterior of the property is not very well taken care of. The outside of the propane definitely needs cleaning and maintenance. The host was very good to deal with during booking, check in and check out.

Amazing

The house and boat house are exactly as advertised! It’s close to the highway yet secluded. We all had plenty of room for sleeping and plenty of room for vehicles and trailers. SUPER clean and the check-in process and “rules” for check-out were easy. We would definitely rent again!
