About this property
Big Sky Home, Spacious and Clean, with Private Hot Tub, Fireplace and Garage
Make this two-story 1850 square feet chalet your home for a well-deserved vacation! This beautiful chalet accommodates 8, in 3 bedrooms, each with its full bathroom and plenty of closet space. Bedding, towels and some toiletries are provided. It is ideal for 4 adults and 4 children / teenagers as the Bunk Room sleeps 4, with a full bed and 2 twins, the Masters sleeps 2 and the Downstairs Room sleeps another 2. The chalet has an open floor plan with a cathedral ceiling, a stone fireplace that can be enjoyed while relaxing in the comfortable sectional sofa. Conveniently for the winter stays, literally every room has its own heating system, affording coziness wherever you are in the chalet! The kitchen is fully equipped for 8, with stainless steel appliances, plenty of dishes, pots and pans, flatware and utensils. Meals can be enjoyed by 6 guests around the dining table and 4 can sit at the “kitchen bar”. The chalet has a one car garage (with ski racks on the wall), a parking space for a second car outside the garage, a foyer with hooks for coats/backpacks/helmets etc., and a washer and dryer room. The hot tub is roomy and accommodates 7 people. This chalet sits just about a mile from the heart of Town Center where restaurants and shops are located, as well as a couple of grocery stores, wine and liquor stores, a movie-theater, galleries and more. The skating rink is also available there in the winter; free concerts in the park and a weekly farmer's market can be enjoyed in the summer. The chalet is also just a short walk away from Ousel Falls, an easy beautiful hike worth doing any time of the year. Most people fly into Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN), and drive about 45 mn or take one of the shuttle services to get to Big Sky. If you haven’t experienced winter in Big Sky, you are in for a treat! The resort is just a 7-mile drive from the chalet, and offers 5800 acres of snowy slopes, where over 230 trails await you, accessed by 23 lifts. You can get there with your own vehicle or with the FREE on-demand Skyline Bus shuttle. In the summer, you can enjoy golfing in town, pick up a volleyball or soccer game at the park, and the resort offers miles of mountain biking and hiking trails. Horseback riding is available a couple of miles down and the area is also well known for its abundant fly-fishing opportunities, hikes, river rafting, and of course, Yellowstone National Park! Its West entrance is about 45 minutes away, driving on Highway 191.

Thank you for the good review, and our apologies about the pot holders, we laundered them and forgot to bring them back. Thank you for the reminder, they will be replaced!
Great, great experience at this property! Check in and check out procedures were simple and quick. Property was so nice, clean, and comfortable. Hosts were readily available when we had a minor question, and location was great with easy access to Yellowstone and Bozeman.
The chalet was so cute. I loved the guest mode for Roku so I didn't have to figure out how to log out. Plenty of blankets to stay cozy. My family decided to go to Florida but I had the best time relaxing by myself for thanksgiving.
Very nice property. Clean and kitchen is stocked well.

Thank you! We strive to make sure our chalet has all the amenities for our guests to feel "at home", from the mini shampoos, conditioners, lotions and soaps in the bathrooms, to the laundry detergent and the kitchen's dishes, cookware, spices and dishwasher pods. We'd love to welcome you back any time!
Great location for a big sky ski getaway. Close to the town for restaurants and nightlife. Quick drive to the resort to ski! The townhome was great!

This townhouse met all of our needs for a short visit to Big Sky. It was as depicted in the description and the place was very clean, well appointed/supplied, and centrally located to all that Big Sky has to offer. Only a mile from the town center with a walking trail to safely walk there and less than a mile from the Ousel Falls trailhead, We will definitely stay here again on future visits to Big Sky,
Unit is close to Big Sky groceries and other restaurants. Convenient 1 hr away between BZN and YLS NP. Our family have great time to stay. Household basic supplies for bathrooms and kitchen are not enough for 9 days but it’s minor.

Thank you for your review. For the sake of clarification, I am assuming that by basic supplies you meant soaps, shampoos, conditioners, lotions, toilet paper rolls in the bathrooms and paper towels, liquid dish soap and garbage bags in the kitchen. These items are there as a convenience for our guests who at times check in to the chalet late. During longer stays, guests usually replenish their supplies as needed.
We usually provide plendy of dishwasher pods, spices, coffee filters and laundry detergent, as stated in our chalet information page, and always encourage our guests to ask us any questions they feel are not answered on it. Reading our welcome package usually helps both sides as we strive to make our guests feel "at home" and hope they treat and leave the house as they would their own.
Best,
Kat
My husband, daughter and a few friends stayed there while they were in town for the Total Archery Challenge. The place is spacious and clean, easy to find, in a great neighborhood and had everything they needed to relax after a long day on the mountain. Would totally stay there again!

Thank you so much for your review Amie! We are so glad our chalet was enjoyed by all and would love to welcome your family and friends again!
We had multiple family members, and everyone had enough space to feel comfortable. The hot tub was hot, the kitchen and seating were fully adequate, and the property is a reasonably short distance to the slopes.
This is a great place to stay in the meadow area of Big Sky

Hello, my name is Katia, my friends call me Kat :) My husband Scott and I welcome you to our chalet! We fell in love with Big Sky in 2006, and have been coming regularly since then. We have two grown daughters and one very spoiled German Shepherd. We live in Florida and visit Montana several times a year. We are avid skiers / snowboarders, travel a lot, and love great food, wine and good company!
