Vacation play at Sandy Bay. With almost an acre of property on the gorgeous Pamlico Sound, Sandy Bay has a wide grassy and sandy waterfront launch and a private boardwalk to the sound. Frisco beach is a short walk away. The ground level has ample parking, a carport, an outside bathroom, a second outside shower, lockable storage with racks, a fish-cleaning station, and an all-weather entry. The first level has a spacious bedroom. The second level has two bedrooms, a bath, a den with a TV and DVD player, laundry facilities, and a sound-side deck with a hot tub. The third level has tall cathedral ceilings, wood accents, great furnishings, and views of the sound, ocean, and sunsets from the interior or from the wide wraparound deck. The main bedroom has a semi-private full bath. Sandy Bay has a well-equipped new kitchen with a breakfast bar and a dining area. The fourth level sleeping loft will provide a panoramic 360-degree view of the ocean and sound. If you want the 'red carpet' treatment, try super Sandy Bay.

Things to know:
You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check-in until we have received your signature electronically. Please contact us directly if you do not receive this agreement.

Please note: Guests have access to the Club Hatteras Pool Facility. Additional details around this facility will be shared in your check-in email and during the check-in process. The club is typically open Mid-May to Mid-October, depending on weather.

Needs TLC but I’d rent it again

We loved the location. Right on the sound and can see the ocean. Large lot gives you more privacy than most places. Road out TS Ophelia like a champ.

Good location, but run down and not very clean.

This house has plenty of room and a great location. The exterior is a little rundown with pieces of wood falling off everywhere and trash laying in the yard and under the house. A couple days of handyman work and a good deep clean could easily make this a five star house. We were a group of six men on a fishing trip and we would stay here again, but would definitely not bring our families to this house.

Beautiful sound view

Upon arrival this house was very dirty. I had to vacuum the floors and couches because they were covered in dog hair, dirt and sand. The stove, microwave and counters were covered in grease. The house had a musty smell throughout. We had to buy Glade plug ins and candles to mask the smell. The hot tub only had 2 working jets and many many pieces to the hot tub on the ground. It also had a leak somewhere because the hot tub was less than half full by the second day. We only used the hot tub for about an hour. Very disappointing 😞 The view of the sound was this property's saving grace. A Only a few of the window blinds actually worked..there was rips in the carpet, the decks seemed sketchy as well as several loose pickets on the decks.

House met needs. Does need a few things fixed/replaced. Mini blinds in LR/kitchen are broken and ragged . Most windows lack screens or they are torn. Fixtures need brighter bulbs especially in kitchen and under microwave . Pet friendly and is noted in appearance of carpeted area in sitting room on 2nd lvl. Pet odors noticed. BR on ground level is dark and musty. No sun and very dim lighting. As stated the house met needs but good be nicer with a little TLC

Not the greatest star - 2 star at most

Loved: the view. Neighbors dock was better shape and entrance. This one was in a mud pit. my dogs loved it, i did not. Bee hives in the underground area. Roaches in house. Found 3 in sink. 2 in bathroom. 2 in other bathroom. 3 in bedroom. NOT A FAN. AC did not work the first 3 days. i got $200 back. (DOES NOT COMPENSATE FOR ISSUES) 2 star at most, 1 star rating. I would never stay here again. Maybe half the price it was at ($4800 for week - off season)
