We had a lovely stay for my partners birthday. The place was perfect. We were glad that they changed the water in the hot tub for us, even if it took a while for it to heat up. Internet was spotty but did not hinder our stay. Thank you. We had a wonderful time.
The house is very cozy, we loved the fire place and the view of the river. The hot tub was a nice touch especially after our hiking adventure to Heather lake. We didn't do a fire by the river but we would have loved to if the rain had let up. It was super clean, kitchen was just right. Thank you so much your property was beautiful.
The cabin is so awesome. The sounds of a rushing river sitting in the hot tub with an outdoor fire! Magical!!! Return to nature in comfort with all amenities you could need. Highly recommend. Thank you!
We had an amazing time at the Rusty Bridge Cabin! It's such a cozy and cute cabin, we loved it! We would definitely come back again and maybe even in the winter as I am sure the cabin would feel amazing while the snow is falling. Owen and Kristen are amazing host as well! Had a great time celebrating my brother's heavenly b-day at the cabin with my parents who came up from TX.
We visited the cabin for 2 nights for our Anniversary. The access to the river is right out the door. Sitting on the deck with a glass of wine watching the sunset with the river below was just what I was looking for. Our dog loved the river, we loved the hot tub! It was a win win!
This property is amazing! Everything you need for a get-a-way in the woods has been careful thought of and provided. Kitchen has EVERYTHING and more. The covered hot tub, covered fire pit and the sounds of the river and wildlife was our favorite. We look forward to booking another trip here as soon as possible. The owners and their team are world class. Very attentive and accommodating. Thank you all for making our week the very best!
Upon arrival unfortunately the hot tub was empty and being refilled so not able to use. By the second night the hot tub was not near temp and unusable. After a very long hike we were really looking forward to a nice relaxing evening in the tub. Decided to just check out and head home a night early since no hot tub. Host is nice and everything else was great. Just disappointed as the hot tub was the only reason I chose this particular property.
This cabin is wonderful! It's the perfect getaway for those looking to fall off the grid with a little peace and quiet. It has all the essentials that you could ask for-- and so much more! If you've ever dreamt of a cabin on the river in the mountains – – this is the place to go!
We loved this place! Very cozy, amazing views of the river and trees, very clean, easy check in process. The movie selection was great, but the wifi is weak given the rural area and tree cover. Not a bad thing, just something to be aware of. We really loved it and hope to book here again!
Everything was perfect. So appealing and cozy and had everything you needed. Loved sitting out on the deck and looking at the river below. Always looked forward to coming back after a long day to our a little home.
Simply put, this was the absolutely ideal stay for us. I just wish we could've stayed more than one night.
We opted to do the Lake 22 hike prior to arriving and were treated to some very typical seasonal weather. So by the time we arrived to the cabin, we were soaked to the bone.
Walking in to the cabin, we were immediately warmed just by the coziness of the place. When I say they nailed every detail, I mean, they nailed absolutely every detail. We stripped to our skivvies and got into some comfy clothes and warmed ourselves by the fireplace.
Enjoyed some wine, chacuterie, and great company as the rain continued to fall throughout the evening. Time felt as if it were standing still in our little cabin tucked into the mountains.
We woke up and took a stroll along the river just outside our door before regrettably packing up and heading out.
When I think about the the absolutely ideal cabin, this is it. I want to go back, hope that someday we will. Thank you, thank you, thank you for such a perfect and wonderful experience!
It was a really short stay due to my plane being canceled 4 times, but the time I spent there was fantastic. Host was really nice and easy to contact. I hope we get a chance in the future to do it again!
The best little rental. A perfect escape less than an hour from seattle. Can't wait to go back again.

We are Owen and Kristin, and we love our job of creating magical retreats for our guests to stay and relax in. Owen is a former contractor and I am an Alaska Airlines flight attendant, and both are real estate brokers. We pride ourselves on creating a rewarding experience for all of our guests. We buy (or help our clients buy) unique properties all around the PNW. We then remodel these homes to chic faux-rustic design. All the way through sourcing furniture and stocking shelves the process goes on. We love family, skiing, hiking, traveling, gardening, photography and searching for new properties to renovate. Our adventure started 4 years ago as house flippers and helping our clients do the same. Things took a turn when we completed our 3 cabin remodels. The plan was to finish and sell them so we could roll into other flips, but the night before listing, while sitting around the campfire, we decided to roll the dice and keep the cabins and turn them into Vacation Rentals. That single decision has completely changed our lives and business plan.
