The Cottage was the perfect place to rest after a long day of wine and beer tastings around the Leelanau Peninsula! The neighborhood was quiet and the cottage was cozy with great views of the lake!
The cottage has beautiful “up north” character. Gorgeous lake views and gardens. It was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Lake side porch area is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or evening wine. Our grandson thoroughly enjoyed the dock and swimming area. We will definitely return.
Lovely cottage right on Lake Leelenau. Very clean. All amentities listed.
Perfect dock to sit on, read and watch the waves. Too cold to swim but we did last year and enjoyed it.
Great owners and we hope to visit again.
It was a lovely place to stay. Beautiful sunrises. Very clean house. Unfortunately the first night we noticed the hot water smelled like eggs/sulfur. The owner was very responsive and found the issue the next day. Even though the issue couldn’t be resolved during our stay, it could be resolved prior to the next guest.
Cozy little cottage on the lake but was a little crammed in between 2 larger houses with trees half blocking the lake view. Nice screened in porch and deck. Cottage was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our 2 day stay. It was a little hard to find as the listing has the wrong house #, which was next to our rental. Only negative was our last evening there when we went to the dock area to relax on a beautiful evening with a beverage before dinner and the owner came back out to mow again which chased us back inside.
This was our second year staying here and we had an enjoyable time. We love the owners. Just a couple things. The blinds in both bedrooms could be replaced. They don’t close properly. The other is to leave detailed directions in the book on how to operate the remote for heating/cooling. Not everyone would think to slide the remote open to locate buttons for operating.
Really nice quite spot, its super clean and well maintained! I'd stay there again it was perfect for the 3 of us on our 3 night stay! The fire pit right by the lake was great it also has a really nice gas grill we took advantage of that. We cooked in several meals the kitchen was well set up.
The cabin was in a beautiful location with dock access and a fire pit and BBQ, it was well furnished. The only issue was the water had a sulfur odor so we used bottled water for drinking and coffee. We had a great stay, good times and friendly people!!
This is the nicest, cleanest cabin I have ever enjoyed staying in. Nice atmosphere, quiet. I need to cook for dietary reasons and the kitchen was very nicely equipped which is always a big plus for me. I enjoyed my week here.
Reminiscent of old time up north cabins with knotty pine walls and ceilings, except the kitchen and bathroom have been updated; and the floors, windows, roof and siding have all been replaced. And there's internet of course... we couldn't survive without wifi. All in all this was a cozy place to stay for a week, and the grounds are immaculate. We rented kayaks and there's a convenient spot to launch from shore, and a private dock with chaise longues to just kick back and enjoy life at the lakeside.A few side notes: 1) There's a nice gas grill, but bring your own metal spatula if you plan to flip burgers. 2) Anything left overnight in the lawn area will get soaked. The automatic sprinklers come on early every morning. 3) We brought extra towels since there’s no washer/dryer, but it wasn't necessary. We could have stayed a month and not gone through all the towels they provided. 4) It's a pretty quiet area and the neighbors are nearby but friendly. You'll remember the name of the dog next door after you hear his owner call him a few dozen times.
We celebrated our anniversary with a weekend getaway at this cottage. It's small, but perfect for two people. Very clean and cozy, with a beautiful view of Lake Leelanau. Great location to visit wineries on the Leelanau Peninsula, close to restaurants, hiking trails, dunes, etc. And our hosts were lovely. We would stay again!
This is the second time we stayed at this cottage to observe the fall colors in Michigan. We love the quaintness of the cottage and the great views of the lake. The owners, Bob and Caroline, are absolutely wonderful and we plan to return in the future.
The cabin itself was very nice and clean, getting to the cabin was very misleading, had to park in grass and walk through wet grass in the mornings. I would suggest putting blinds on front window, it's very bright plus the neighbors (owners workers could see us as they walked by) We were informed that people would be working on the dock Sunday morning at 9 am after we got there, we checked on Thursday and we were told on Friday, we left a day early due toworkerwthereworkers and hadthe e us
The cottage was well maintained. Beautiful gardens!! It lacks a paved walkway to the door.(I am using a cane).
The WiFi code provided by the website was incorrect.
Loved the fire pit.
Overall a great stay! Thank you!
This nice cozy cottage was on Lake Leelenau and offered great views of the lake. The cottage was very clean and came with all of the items needed for an enjoyable stay. The owners were great people and made us feel welcome. I would recommend this place to anyone considering a great experience in the Leelenau peninsula.
Beautiful little cabin in quiet, quaint town. Bob was great, very friendly. Close to TC if you want to adventure into town.

What makes this property unique
Lake Leelanau is one of the area's most beautiful lakes. Clear, narrow and 22 miles long, this lake is normally safe for all types of boating. Sandy bottom, shallow sloping shore is safe for children and the lake is also a great fishing site. Restaurants and wineries accessable by boat.
