Thanks for the review, Talisha. We're happy everyone had a great time and we'd love to host you all again. Come back soon.
This house is really amazing. It was a great getaway for a family of 3 generations. We just had a death in the family and this was a wonderful way to just be together. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and spacious. Our teenage son loved the game room with tons of space and a media room for watching movies. All the beds were comfy and the house was so peaceful with beautiful views, decks, and a hot tub. Thanks so much! We loved our stay!

What a great guest! Communicated well, left my cabin in good shape and departed on time. Followed the house rules and is definitely welcome back when they come again. Thanks so much!
This place is very nice and clean, and our kids enjoyed the stay. The communication with the owner was great. He made sure we have everything we needed. He provided as with detail instruction on how to get to the house and brochures of places we can visit. He also has videos of how to unlock the front door and how to turn on the fireplace, that was helpful.
They only provide the essential, so if you need to stay longer or if you plan to cook you should plan of getting the stuff yourself.

Don’t do if
We booked this cabin wanting the perfect family weekend just to connect with our kids and have a break. We looked through hundreds of cabins and thought this one was the best even though it was more expensive bc it looked really nice and had all the games for the kids. No it was run down, the games didn’t even work so the kids were bored and complaining in the first hour having to sit and look at broken games, island bar broken, nasty ripped rug first thing you see, there was only one bathroom on the main floor and it had broken blinds and was literally had the hot tub on the other side so when people were in the hot tub they could see in the bathroom if you had to go or change! The floors had holes and messed up everywhere looked like a kid put them together. Host responded quickly but only refunded us 92 out of the 900! Could have booked a cheaper nicer cabin. Don’t do it the pictures are very deceiving. Parking is a nightmare there’s enough room for a tiny car and hope you don’t get stuck. It was supposed to be a big cabin so we had a transit van and we got stuck and had to park in the middle of the road to make sure it didn’t happen again.

Glenda,
Thank you for taking time to leave a review, although not what I like to see happening. Again apologies that the arcade vendor was hung up during your stay and we couldn't address the skiball game at that time. I also have new hockey pucks that were just delivered as it seems the ones present during your stay were too big for the machine, but all issues are in the process of being resolved as quickly as shipping and technicians allow. I wish I could have fixed the games during your stay. The wooden floors are honestly part of the rustic charm of this property, and I think had our games been functioning, you may have been able to embrace the other attributes of this cabin a bit more sweetly. I hope despite the lack of games that your family was able to unwind and make some wonderful memories.
I am SO disappointed in this cabin and experience. I wasn't going to leave a bad rating, because I had hoped it was a one time thing - but I have to...and VRBO advised me to do so. Justin was always great with communication prior to our arrival. When we got to Knox airport - I asked if we could check in early. No response. No big deal...we waited and got in (it was hard to find, but they warned us about that, so no big deal). The cabin description sounds like a dream and for what we were paying, I had high hopes! Upon arrival, we knew there were spots for "2 or 3 cars". Having 2 large cars, this was important. There is not parking for "2 or 3 cars"...theres parking for one car and a big sign on the neighboring property (which is SO CLOSE) that informs you if you park there, or near there, you'll be towed. We entered the unit, and it looked OK at first - but was SUPER warm. OK no big deal. We start walking around and I notice how dirty everything looked. The walls, the bannister, the interior of the doors. Super dirty and "grimy" looking. Heading downstairs I noticed on the floor (Looking to go down the stairs) small black hairs EVERYWHERE. This prompted us to look throughout the cabin, and the floor was dirty - the bottom of our white socks (we take our shoes off at the door) were filthy. The begging looked dirty, the upstairs has little to NO ac...it was SO hot no one could sleep up there. We walked around out back excited to see the firepit. It was in disarray - sidewalk chalk from the previous stay was covering the concrete (not a big deal, but showing how this place was NOT cleaned for us) and grocery bags were in the back yard - just trash all over. The firepit area ...do NOT think it looks like the photos, it does NOT. The seats were all over, which again we can move them, but there was trash and items around the firepit that looked out of place - showing how this was not cleaned prior to our visit. I looked in the bathrooms and the bottoms of the tubs were filthy. I could not bathe my small children in those tubs. I reached out to owner, immediately, and got no response. I told him we needed a solution because we cant stay there with the home in that condition. No response. We had to book another cabin, thank goodness we were able to find something last minute. on day FIVE OF SIX, justin responds and says he wont give a refund because he didnt have a "chance" to rectify it. He didnt answer!!! I am currently fighting and working with VRBO.

First I want to apologize for my cleaners doing a poor job. That's totally on me. I offered to send them back to make it right and you declined. No amount of abuse or harassment of my helpers will make it clean - it's simply disrespectful and not called for. Also, I looked back and the average response time to your messages was under 10 minutes, so those statements just aren't true. I'm not sure why you chose to be this angry about a very human mistake, but I can say I'm disappointed as well.
We rented this cabin for the weekend of my bachelorette weekend. We wanted a cabin where we could enjoy nature and relax(bc I’m not the party person). This cabin was the perfect combination of just that! We had a few issues but a quick email to the owners and they got it fixed as quickly as possible. So glad we booked this cabin

We enjoyed staying at this secluded cabin. The cabin was very nicely furnished, especially with kitchen ware. It was quiet surroundings. The 3 bedrooms and 2 baths very comfortably fit the six of us. My only recommendation is to specifically say that 8 mikes from Pigeon Forge takes 30 minutes. I would also suggest to use Route 416 Pittman Center to get to and from the cabin. Really enjoyed our visit!!

Thanks so much for your visit and the kind words. We do our best to keep the cabin in top shape, especially since we all use it too!
And yes, the windy mountain roads can take longer, especially depending on which direction you're coming from.
See you next time!
