About this property

College St. Retreat, is a German style Sunday House that has been updated and remodeled located just 4 blocks from main street near the heart of all the shopping and restaurants. The Sunday house is approximately 1,000 square feet in size with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The open floor plan includes a nice living room with a comfortable sectional sofa and chair. There is a full-size kitchen, a large island with seating, appliances and kitchenware. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower, a double sink vanity, and a washer & dryer. Each of the bedrooms have a King bed a nice closet and a door to the backyard sitting area with a propane firepit and Weber gas grill. The house has large covered front porch with rocking chairs to enjoy that evening glass of wine and your morning coffee.

Great place

Clean, quiet, charming spot conveniently located near downtown. I've stayed in about 5 VRBOs visiting family over the years and this is my favorite.

Great spot and perfect getaway

The home has been beautifully updated. The beds were comfortable and everything felt really clean. Kitchen was well stocked and the location was great!

Great place to relax after a day of shopping and/or wine tasting!

My cousins and I stayed in the College St. Retreat for a weekend get-away. The house was exactly as advertised, and VERY clean! There were 4 of us and we had plenty of space. The kitchen was well stocked with necessities, and there were plenty of linens. There is a family of deer that like to frequent the backyard in the evenings. Access to the property was easy. The host provided the information a few days ahead of arrival as promised. The location is great; very close to main street. We will definitely be back.

Girls Weekend

The property over exceeded our expectations. The house was the perfect size for our group. The kitchen had everything we needed. House was very clean. We will definitely be staying here again for our next visit.

Family time

Well appointed home in a quiet neighborhood …where you might get a deer parade down the street about 10:00pm. I have stayed here twice and the deer are a thing. Love it!!! The owner is attentive. And the house is conveniently located near Main Street. Will stay here again and again and again.
