About this property

Cabin in the Cove - Boathouse - Dog Friendly

Open concept with hardwood floors throughout. Convenient to local restaurants and shops. Guntersville State Park is approximately 5 miles away. Boat ramp is about 1 mile away. Relax in the open kitchen/living area or the screened in porch. If sun is what you are looking for then there is a sun deck down at the boathouse. The Cabin also has several open decks to enjoy the outdoors. The Cabin can sleep up to 7 people. There's a queen size bed in the master bedroom and four twin beds in the other 2 bedrooms.

Use of the Boathouse is included with The Cabin. You will have access to 1 large boat slip with an electric lift for your use. There are tie ups available on the outside of the boat house. There is power and water at the boat house.

Owner is not responsible for personal injury or property damage but you are welcome to utilize the boat house and decks. Swim at your own risk.

The boat and watercraft toys (skis, tubes, kneeboards, etc..) are NOT available for use.

You must contact us directly and receive confirmation prior to using the kayaks or fishing tackle. The rental rate is $20 for each kayak for the duration of your stay and can be invoiced thru VRBO or paid via Paypal.

However, the Lily Pad, life jackets, and floats are for your enjoyment. Water level at the boathouse is around 4-5 feet. No diving.

Wonderful Cabin

Cabin is very roomy and comfortable! Surrounded by a beautilful view. It is well stocked and you have many places outside to sit and enjoy the lake. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place.

Perfect Fishing house

We enjoyed our stay and being on the water with access to a dock and a boat slip was very vice. The house was very clean with a well-stocked kitchen. Communication with he owner was very quick and courteous.

Awesome Experience!

The house is absolutely adorable and in a great location. We didn’t have much downtime but when we did we enjoyed the outdoor space and the lake. If we ever find ourselves in that area again we will definitely rent again.

Great House and very clean

A group of 4 fishermen with two boats stayed 4 nights. The only situation was backing our boat trailers off the narrow road into the driveway, but with a little practice it turned out to be okay. The house is great. Very clean and had all of the amenities that you can ask for to have a very enjoyable stay. Would gladly stay again. Highly recommend this cabin.

Cozy Cabin

The cabin was like a second home. Everything we needed in the kitchen was there. The big open kitchen den and seating at the island made for good family time. The Generac was super handy because a car accident made the power go off on Friday night. I appreciated the blankets, the dog couch covers, and the small heaters in each bathroom, and the screened in porch. It was just what I wanted out of a family gathering space for thanksgiving and football watching.

The house was very clean and well stocked. There are several restaurants nearby as well as the state park which was a big plus for my family. The host are very accommodating and respond to messages quickly. We are already planning a trip back!

Very clean. We always bring our own covers for the furniture due to our small dog that sheds. But the owners already had some available so we used those. The kitchen had everything you needed. Had a great stay.
