Super 3 bedroom beach villa, Ranna, Tangalle for 6, pool, free pick up, serviced

Located in Ranna, Tangalle, with direct access to one of the best beaches in the Southern Coast of Sri Lanka, Ardeen Villa provides the traveler with excellent service in a most comfortable and very relaxing environment. The magnificent beach 30 meters away is at your doorstep. A day or half day trip takes you to the largest game reserves, Yala, Lunigamvehera and UdaWalawe. the Bundala and Kalametiya bird sanctuaries, the popular hill town of Ella with its cool climate and tea plantations and nine arches railway bridge, the UNESCO listed Heritage City of Galle, dolphin and whale watching sites, turtle hatcheries, surfing, diving, snorkeling and swimming beaches on the coast are within easy access.
The villa has three bedrooms for 6. Two rooms have a sea view and in the third room two extra beds can be added, if requested to accommodate 4 and in total up to 8 in the entire villa. Each extra bed attracts a charge of USD 40 per night. The bedrooms are extra large and fully fitted out with ceiling fans, AC's, hot water, separate shower and toilet, twin wash basins, and bidets and safes. The family suite in addition has a bath tub. The two double rooms with sea views each also has an outdoor open shower for kids for stargazing and watching the fireflies at night. The villa is set on an acre of beachfront land with a pool, magnificently landscaped with tropical plants, a fish pond, two outdoor cabanas, wood fired BBQ and manicured lawns and tropical plants. A variety of birds are often sighted including the rare golden oriole, horn bills, king fisher, peacocks and eagles. The Kahandamodara lagoon as well as the Rekawa and Kalametiya lagoons are all within very close proximity where boat trips are arranged for angling or bird watching or absorbing the serenity of this slice of paradise.
A staff of four work at the villa with some staff living 24 hours in the staff quarters located separate from the villa.
Day trips to the various must visit places can be arranged with a picnic lunch.
We have arranged special transport rates with outside service providers for trips or tours. Rates can be negotiated with the drivers. There are many attractions on this coast line for holiday makers.
In Ranna, visits to the local fresh produce markets, the fisheries harbor, the town of Tangalle nearby with its wide choice of restaurants and cafes, the Kalametitya bird sanctuary and a boat ride on the lagoon or a walk on the beach at sunrise and dusk are enjoyable experiences. The International 18 hole golf course is a 20 minute drive from the villa.
For those who want to chill out, one can laze by the pool, sip a cocktail relaxing in the cabana on the beach, play a game of badminton or beach ball or join the local fishermen in drawing their nets with their day's catch. Great spot for the kids to run around exploring the beach and relaxing on the sand. Catching prawns in the lagoon or angling at the fishing spots or taking a boat ride on the calm lagoon provide hours of enjoyment.
POLICIES:
1. Free pick up from the International BIA airport or a hotel in Colombo available for stays of 7 nights for groups of up to 6 travelling together. Pick up for stays less than 7 days can be arranged at prices to be agreed. For stays of 10 days free pick and drop off is available.
2. Daily cleaning service and all taxes are included in the villa rate.
3. Meals are priced at breakfast USD 8, lunch or dinner USD 8-12 per meal and USD 4-8 for kids meals, light meals, soups, salads, deserts and snacks. Both local, Asian and western cuisine and vegetarian is available. Any special requests for live lobster, large lagoon prawns and other gourmet seafood can be provided at market rate with advance notice. Guests staying for 7 nights or more have the option of buying their own groceries and using the services of the chef to cook their meals free of charge. We do not sell liquor or wine but guests are welcome to bring their own stocks for consumption free of charge whilst staying at the villa. The villa is solely and exclusively for the use of only the resident guests.

5. Free cooking lessons on local dishes provided for one week stay guests.
6. The accommodation rate includes taxes and a dally cleaning service.
7. A wash only laundry service is provided by our staff at a charge of USD 50 cents per piece and guests are provided with an iron to do their own ironing.
8. Kids must be supervised by the parents whilst using the pool. Pool rules must be followed.
