This condo is a perfect place for your tropical island retreat. Just steps from the warm ocean water, it has the best view on Sapphire beach. Relax, enjoy, and feel like you are in paradise, away from everything! Just you, easterly breezes, turquoise water, stunning view of Pillsbury Sound, St. John, and the swimming pool. At night mesmerizing view of thousands of stars including the Milky Way!

Featuring a huge wrap-around terrace and an uninterrupted view from Atlantic to Caribbean over St. John and the British Virgin Islands, your condominium is a premier unit at Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina, a gated community with 24-7 security. (Many guests who have visited and seen what Sapphire Beach has to offer have said this unit occupies Sapphire's best location.)

The condominium and balcony is an extra-large (1250 sq. ft.) fully air-conditioned studio that can be divided to create two sleeping areas by a sliding, louvered wood partition. The 'master' sleeping area presents a king-sized bed with a brand new Pillow-Top mattress providing exquisite sleeping comfort and, at the foot of the bed, a flat-screen HD, LCD cable TV.

The kitchen is sleek and modern, with a full-sized fridge, stove and microwave. The outside deck is a premier feature because it is so huge. It contains a dining area, a lounge area and, of course, the Heavenly Hammock pictured above.

Amazing vacation

Great location, very nice condo, super communication from host! The condo and resort was exactly as described. We loved that everything was right there. The condo had everything we needed and more! Tamuna was great, made sure we didn’t need anything during our stay. Even made sure we knew to get to the airport early and checked on us after we got home. We had an amazing time!

Fantastic Get-a-Way

Hammock in Heaven was a perfect place to stay after our tour of BVI. You will love the deck overlooking the beautiful bay along with great room accommodations for everything you may need. Also close to great restaurants on site and in Red Hook. Property manager was excellent. Highly recommend.

Perfect Rental!

All you can ask for: recently/nicely renovated condo in great location with great amenities. Sapphire Beach itself is very nice, but also easy access to other beaches in St Thomas, Red Hook bars/restaurants and ferry to St John (all of which we took advantage of, even for a short stay). Easy check in/out. Host provided all the info we needed and was in regular communication. Highly recommend!

A Slice of Heaven

Staying at Hammock in Heaven was pure delight. The condo was beautifully organized with plenty of storage space for our belongings. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a great meal. The view from the balcony was fantastic, especially if you’re up in time to see the sunrise. We’ve stayed on Sapphire Beach numerous times and love the proximity to Red Hook and the restaurant Tarpon’s Table, the snorkeling, the warm blue water and the coffee shop and bar on property. This unit had everything we needed and is highly recommended.

Lots of deficiencies

First, let me say that the owner did a very nice job of renovating the kitchen, bathroom and sleeping area by adding custom cabinets. She also supplied many items that you would normally have to purchase, like tea, coffee, sugar, toiletries and beach items. However, when we arrived I saw a safe in the closet but found out it was inoperable. The 2 TVs were not working, which I contacted the host about several times. Finally, she had her resort manager supply new remote controllers, but that didn’t happen until day #4. The most significant complaint is that there was no hot water. Turn on the cold, and it comes out great. This was true in the 2 sinks and the shower. I contacted the owner many times about this and her response was “no one else complained about it”. Unfortunately, that didn’t help us and we went the entire 5 days with no hot water. There were other little things that needed attention as well; the toilet seat is falling off, as is the toilet paper holder from the wall. This was also brought to the owners attention. There seems to be ceiling damage from water, perhaps from the unit above? The ceiling cracks are obvious. The window valance over the bed is falling down on one side, and needs to be repaired. The ceiling track lights by the kitchen counter are falling off on one side. I won’t go on, but no TV and no hot water led to a poor rating in my book, even though the owner declared on many occasions that she always gets the highest ratings.

Great location!!

The location of this property was perfect! Right on the beach, and really close to Red Hook, which was convenient because we took the ferry to St. John a couple of times. Only downside was that there’s a lot of seaweed floating around the Caribbean right now and it was washing up along the shore right in front of the property. There were workers out there each morning raking it into piles, but there’s just so much of if. But it was just a short walk down the beach to find a clearer spot.

Like staying right over the ocean!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful rental in St. Thomas overlooking Sapphire Beach! The unit was super clean and incredibly well-maintained, making it feel like a true home away from home. The highlight was definitely the wraparound balcony/deck—it truly felt like we were staying right over the ocean, with the most breathtaking panoramic views. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying coffee with that view was unforgettable.Tamuna was super communicative and easy to reach, and she went above and beyond by providing a TON of helpful information about activities, restaurants, and things to do on the island. It made our trip even more enjoyable and stress-free. We had everything we needed and more. We would definitely go back and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic escape in the U.S. Virgin Islands!

My wife and I enjoyed everything about our stay. The host was very responsive throughout the entire process. The room had everything that we could want; including a priceless view. The property was super convenient with instant beach access, coffee shop and three places to eat to choose from. This will be our go-to place on St. Thomas from now on.

Beautiful

The view is to die for.....the view from the balcony is everything. The deck is huge with ample seating plus 2 rocking chairs and that amazing hammock. The place is very clean looks just like the pictures. Our host was wonderful she was very responsive and offered us some wonderful places to eat and do offsite. There are some places to eat onsite just a very short walk from the property. If you are looking for an awesome ocean view you should book this place.

A beautiful condo on a beautiful beach with the most beautiful view. The host was readily available via app communication. Soap, towels, beach towels, beach chairs, and snorkel available for use. The resort has multiple restaurants, a coffee shop and boutique for shopping. Will book again!

A whole vibe!!!

First off, shout out to the cleaning crew! This has to be the cleanest unit I have ever stayed in! Check in was a breeze, condo is even better in person! Let’s not forget the best part! THEE HAMMOCK!!! I think we took a nap on it everyday! Perfect location we barely used our rental car! 5 minutes away from our favorite beach Coki Point, but if you are having a lazy day Sapphire Beach is literally your backyard!!! Our host was beyond accommodating and checked in on us several times! I highly recommend this oasis!!!

Stunning Views

The description and pictures are accurate. This condo is feet away from the ocean on the 2nd floor. The sound of the waves is one of my favorite things to enjoy and this is perfect for that! The view is beyond amazing! We went to Magens Bay Beach and didn't stay long since we felt our beach (Saphire Beach) was better for many reasons. Very clean and had everything we needed. Nicely updated with a modern theme. We used the cooler to take lunch and drinks to the beach. There are chairs to take if you want, but there are free lounge chairs provided free at the beach. There is also snorkeling gear in the closet, which we used as this is a decent location to do some snorkeling right off the beach. We enjoyed watching the boats in the marina and the ferry going back and forth between St. John and Red Hook. Red Hook is only a few minutes away and has some shops and restaurants (parking is sparse most of the time, so consider using Taxi vs driving yourself). Don't miss Sudi's - the restaurant on the marina side of the resort. Be prepared for the cost of things on the island and don't forget to use bug spray (some was under the kitchen sink). We would definitely stay in this condo if we visit St. Thomas again.

January getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at Hammock in Heaven, an efficiency apartment at Sapphire beach. The unit was clean and well stocked and has a very nice view of the ocean and St. John. The pictures of the unit on-line were accurate. The owner provided two large beach towels, folding chairs, and a cooler which we used at sapphire beach and while exploring the island. Sapphire beach resort is very nice and has a great beach, good snorkeling, a bar on the beach, a great pool, and several food options. The marina is next door and offers several water adventures daily. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay in this unit again.

Beach paradise

Absolutely can’t say enough good things about this unit!!! Loved it so much! I have tons of beautiful pictures of the Palm tree right outside our balcony. Best was the last morning at sunrise. Would definitely stay here again
