“UNWIND & UNPLUG”

Nestled on over 5 wooded acres, this cabin provides a perfect retreat from the monotonous grind of city life. Located just 4 miles from Interstate 65, the convenience and comfort are hard to match.

Cabin is located back a gravel drive surrounded by nature. Large mature trees surround the property and cascading goldfish ponds trickle to add to the environment.

Hot tub open year round. Pool open during warmer months (normally Memorial Day thru Labor Day).

Cabin features cedar siding and a hunter green metal roof, 4 queen bedrooms, 3 full baths and is fully furnished with all you need for an enjoyable stay. Vaulted wood ceilings inside and out with a wraparound porch to enjoy your morning coffee or a relaxing afternoon.

Just 4 miles from Interstate 65, but in a land all its own. You'll feel a hundred miles away from the daily grind while being tucked away just outside the city limits.

Located 10 minutes from downtown Bowling Green attractions, National Corvette Museum, Beech Bend Park & Raceway, and WKU Campus. Drive time to Mammoth Cave National Park is right at 30 minutes, and Nashville is about an hour away.

Great cabin at a great site

We stayed with family over Labor Day weekend. The cabin gave us a great opportunity to spend time away with family. The pool was great. Teenagers and adults enjoyed it. The pool was clean and bigger than expected. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub. It was quiet sitting on the covered porch. We saw deer and turkeys. We would stay here again.

Family vacation

The pool was great. Had to get used to the frogs talking to each other at bedtime. House is a little dated but was fine. It was a bit hot in the house during the day but i guess that's what the pool was for.

Relaxing except for pool..........

We really enjoyed the house and location. The main reason we booked this house was the pool. I received notification the day of our travel that the pool had issues. Upon arrival the pool and surroundings looked as if it had issues for a while. So the disappointment was the pool not the house............

Beautiful comfy cabin in the woods

The cabin is definitely comfy and super clean. The bummer part was getting there to find the pool and hot tub water were green and both were not usable. The host did say he was going to get someone out there during our 3 day stay but never did. It was 100+ during our stay and we never got to use the pool or hot tub. One of the reasons we picked this place was because of the pool and hot tub and we never got to use either of them. I would check with the host before arrival to make sure the pool and hot tub are properly functioning.

Cabin in the woods

We totally enjoyed our stay with 5 long time friends. The cabin was run down with broken stairs outside. Also along with pool closed on an 80 degree day in September with guests using pool 5 days prior to our stay. Cabin was roomy but was also dated, and unsafe in some areas. Was asked for compensation and the host would not agree because we called the day before checkout. The home didn't match description on website.

Highlights good, needs maintenance

Pool and hot tub were clean. Pool has no diving board, no ladder for the deep end, fountains don't work, and has slick stairs. Basement bathroom was jank. Needs photos to accurately depict the condition. No outdoor garbage receptacle. HVAC is extremely loud right next to hot tub. It is starved for air and runs constantly, even at night. Bathroom floors are extremely slick. Be careful for slips. They hurt. Good location and privacy. Bedrooms are comfortable, because that's the only place the AC works.

Great communication. Cozy living room! Comfy beds! Overall great place! Only suggestions are Handrails needed for step down in living room… A Garbage can to leave garbage at house not need of road!

Spacious private home with all the necessities.

Beautiful home, spacious and had all the necessities that were needed. Wifi wasn’t the best but we managed. There were a few things broken when we got there. Pool service came the first full day to clean pool- which was nice. Would like to stay again.

Excellent and relaxing stay

Surrounded by trees and far enough from downtown to feel secluded, but close enough to not feel isolated. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Hot tub wasn't working, which was disappointing, but still highly recommend and we plan to come back in warmer weather to take advantage of the pool. If you want to get out and experience local activities, there's lots to do within a short 15-20 minute drive. Lost river cave tour was fun without taking up the entire day. We've done the "gem mining" experience in other tourist areas and I can say without a doubt that theirs was the best. My son found a chunk of peacock ore the size of a grapefruit! We also got a chunk of amazonite a little smaller than a teacup saucer.

Perfect location!

This was a perfect location for a quick weekend trip! It’s about 15 minutes to the heart of downtown, but feels “out in the country” at the same time- we got to see deer in the yard most mornings. Jamie is wonderful to work with and had fantastic tips for making our stay a memorable one!

We enjoyed our stay at Whispering Waters . Having a pool 5 steps from the back door was awesome . The water was warm and clean . It was a great place to get away with family.

Relaxing Oasis

We had such a wonderful time. We had several families meeting together for a mini family reunion and it was a great spot—5 minutes from the Interstate but felt like you were in the middle of nowhere. My kids loved all the ponds surrounding the house, watching frogs and tadpoles and feeding the fish. We also saw deer in the yard and a group of three turkeys who emerged from the woods every morning to find breakfast. Beds were clean and comfy, kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Lots of fun games and we really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The property manager was really helpful accommodating our arrival time, answering our questions ahead of time, and checking on us while we were there. The only difficulty we encountered was that the outside trashcan was full and at the end of the driveway when we arrived, and we didn’t have any place for our full trash bags to go so they piled up quickly, and we were scared raccoons would get them if left outside. This was probably some mistake on our part though in not finding the right outside trash receptacle.

Girls weekend getaway

We had a group of 7 girls that comfortably stayed at the cabin and had a great time enjoying the pool and hot tub. The location is great - secluded but not too far from a quick target run either. The internet isn’t great but that was OK for us. Would stay again!

Love the pool

If you want a quiet place just minutes from BG where you all be close together or all spread out and do you’re own thing this place is perfect. Big kitchen and eating area. 2 spacious living rooms. And one sweet pool. Hot tub is nice too. Did I mention the singing. Frogs? We had a great time grown ups and high schoolers alike

A nice retreat

This cabin is set in woods and you would think it was in a very remote setting but it is close to town. We saw deer and wild turkeys while staying there and kept rescuing some frogs from the pool. All in all we had a nice time and would go back

Hi! I'm Jamie! I'm an accountant by trade - but have spent the last 5 years in property management. My family loves to travel and we want to create a space for other travelers to enjoy. We live just outside of Bowling Green on a farm and spend most of our spare time at sporting events. During the summer, we're typically traveling for an athletic tournament, on a boat at Barren River Lake, or kayaking the many creeks and streams in the area. We LOVE being outdoors. During the week you'll find me at my desk, dreaming of our next beach vacation. :)
