We had a great stay at the property and really enjoyed our time here.
This was our 8th year visiting Sanibel and Captiva and opted for a house since having 2 kids under 4 is a bit challenging in a hotel.
The walk to the beach was maybe 2 blocks -- very short. It was very easy to pack everything up in a wagon provided and make the trip down to the water.
With a family, it's not exactly walkable to restaurants/stores in Captiva, but if we didn't have the kids, it 10000% would be. We ended up renting a golf cart, which was awesome.
The house was great, but just a personal "wish" was that we had a pool for naps and bedtime. We kinda felt "stuck" inside without a pool or view of anything. Again, not fault of anyone other then our own expanded wish list/opinions.
One concern we had was about noise being on that main curve by green flash, and it wasn't an issue at all! We never heard noise.
All in all, we had a great stay and time. It's a great house for a family and felt that beyond minor cosmetic blips here and there, it really is an updated and pretty home that is accessible to quite a bit in Captiva, whether you are walking, biking, carting or driving.
