Waterfront home, managed privately with lower fees. Close to DE and OC Beaches.
A comfortable home away from home in Mallard Lakes. I manage my own property in order to provide lower fees, personal touch and to ensure a wonderful stay.
Two bedrooms; 1 full bath, 1 half bath, and outside shower; sleeps 7 inside. (8 if 2 are small children.) Large oversized tub great for a relaxing soak.
Our home is bright, sunny and nicely decorated. Mallard Lakes is a quiet, lake front home with an amazing view. Our amenities include two pools, a hot tub, tennis, basketball and pickle ball courts, volleyball , horseshoe pits, and docks perfect for fishing or launching a kayak. There are also playgrounds for the little ones. After your relaxing morning sitting outside on the patio overlooking the beautiful lake, take your choice of either OC or DE beaches. The closest beach is less than two miles away with ample parking. At the end of your day, enjoy a nice outdoor shower and then enjoy cooking in a beautiful kitchen complete with everything you could possibly need. Don't feel like cooking? Enjoy your choice of restaurants and shopping close-by. Convenience is why we chose this location and want our guests to enjoy it as much as we do and to keep coming back.
Our units includes board games and a nice selection of books and magazines to keep you entertained. We also supply tennis rackets and beach chairs for your convenience.
**Our summer weekly rentals run from Sunday to Sunday to help our guests avoid the high traffic on Saturdays coming in and out of the area. We will consider a shorter stay on the fringe months. Feel free to ask, if you would prefer a shorter stay by messaging me.
*Mallard Lakes community requires that renters obtain a Weekly Amenity Pass at the Main Office. The fee for this pass is $150.00, effective 2025 and permits access for 6 individuals to all amenities at Mallard Lake for the week. Price subject to change. This fee is paid directly to the Mallard Lakes community. Upon your arrival, stop in the office located at the front pool.
We do NOT allow pets or smoking.
Check in is 4pm and Check out is 10am. If cleaner is done earlier, I will contact you for an early check-in.

My husband and I live in Columbia, MD. We purchased this property because we just loved the location and how convenient it was to both DE and MD beaches. The water view never gets old either. We decided to share our home so that others could enjoy it as well. Instead of using a big, fancy property manager with all the large fees, we decided to manage it ourselves. We love communicating directly with our guests to ensure they are having an amazing stay. Our ultimate goal is you love our home as much as we do and keep coming back.
