About this property

Cozy Cabin, Mountain View, Fireplace, Wildlife, 4 mi to town.

Welcome to our rustic, barn inspired farmhouse, located near the foot of the Bridger Mountains with exceptional mountain views and wildlife viewing. It is in a rural and private setting, but still close to town, and also close to skiing, hiking, fishing, hot springs, and Yellowstone!

We have tried to anticipate your needs for comfort and relaxation and want this to seem like your home away from home. You will feel welcomed with pillows and throws in most every room, a warm cozy woodstove with gorgeous rock fireplace, and soft fluffy rugs, and ceiling fans and A/C in the summer.

The back porch is perfect for waking up to the sunrise with a cup of coffee and an unobstructed view of the Bridger Mountains across the grain field. There are comfortable chairs, a rustic bar with stools, and a Traeger pellet grill to make the best meals. Or just sit and enjoy the view any time of day. It's always beautiful!

The main floor bedroom has a King bed and is right next to the large bathroom with shower/jetted tub combination and laundry room.

If you enjoy cooking, the pans, dishes, and utensils are provided. The kitchen and dining room open up into a living room with vaulted ceilings, tall rock fireplace, and a loft. Sit by the wood stove and watch wildlife from the large windows. You may also see our domestic animals, including chickens, ducks, barn cats, and our horse, Holly.

Upstairs, you can relax in the master suite on the chaise lounge or snuggle into the King bed with cozy bedding and pillows. Master bathroom includes a shower. There is plenty of room in the walk in closet for your luggage and clothing.

The open loft features an office/sitting room overlooking the fireplace, with a large desk for work away from home, and a full size sleeper sofa and a large pouf lounge, if you happen to bring a couple extra friends.

We are close to skiing, hiking, fishing, hot springs, Yellowstone Park, shopping, and restaurants. But this is also the perfect place to social distance and relax with the perfect view and the comforts of home.

Enjoy the features of a mountain cabin, but also the convenience of shopping, fine dining, and the airport only 15 minutes away.

Jewel of Bozeman
From the start, The owners were responsive and accommodating. Everything was EZ. The owner allowed me to text/call as it got closer to checkin and remained in contact to ensure all was going smoothly. There was a welcome sign with all of our names, there were 3 different options for coffee, the house was truly a welcoming home. Location was close to airport and also convenient to downtown Bozeman. We saw deer congregations 2 of the 3 days we were there. As an added treat, the owner left fresh chicken eggs that were creamy deliciousness…would definitely return.

Simply Outstanding!
Ted and Treisa are top notch hosts. Their property is located at the foot of the mountains. Beautiful scenery! Treisa provided links with things to do and she set out a welcome kit with our favorite snacks. The property itself was spotless and had all the comforts of home. Perfect for two couples, a family up to 6 or a group of friends. The entire experience was A+++. I would HIGHLY recommend this property. We hope to visit again. EXCEPTIONAL IN EVERY DETAIL!!!

Perfect Bozeman Stay
We came in to town for our son‘s graduation from Montana State. This place was perfect for family to gather before and after graduation. We played games & sat on the large sectional sofa watching the wrangler national finals rodeo, with the wood stove warming us. The house is stocked with lots of extra blankets and comforts you would find in your own home. Location was perfect for day excursions, including getting to the college campus. The owners were very easy to communicate with, extremely helpful, and very welcoming. We felt at home, and we were welcomed every night when we came home by a friendly kitty on the porch. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need, with an assortment of condiments in the fridge and cupboards. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Bozeman. highly recommend this place!!

About the host

Hi, we are Ted and Treisa Pierce, owners of the Promised Land Vacation Rental in Bozeman, Montana. My husband has lived in Montana all his life and I have lived here for 38 years. I am originally from North Carolina. He grew up in Paradise Valley, near Yellowstone Park, and we both graduated from Gardiner High School. Ted currently works in the Bozeman area at a sand and gravel company, where he has worked for 29 years. I am a photographer in my spare time. We both maintain the vacation rental and enjoy sharing our love of Montana with our guests.

Why they chose this property

We bought this property from my parents when they moved away, so that we could stay in the area. The rental home is where my parents lived. We live in the next house down, so we are close if our guests need anything. We raised our kids here and want to retire here. We can't wait for you to experience Montana the way we have.

What makes this property unique

Guests love seeing the mountains from every side of the wrap around porch and the small bedroom balcony. The back porch is the most loved feature of the home. You can sit on the comfortable chairs and sip coffee as you wake up to the sunrise above the Bridger Mountains, with an unobstructed view across the grain field. There is also a rustic bar with 2 stools on the back porch and a Traeger pellet grill to make the best meals. Deer visit the back yard from the grain field daily in the evenings, and in the spring you can sometimes see sandhill cranes dancing in the field. Elk can sometimes be seen by driving a few minutes north. Some of our domestic animals can also be seen wondering around, including chickens, roosters, ducks, a barn cat named Kitter, and a horse, named Holly. The sunsets are beautiful from the back yard with colorful reflections on the mountains, and can also be seen from the front porch.

Sitting inside by the wood stove and the tall rock fireplace and loft is beautiful and gives you the full rustic experience of Montana, and is so comfortable and cozy on chilly nights, blankets included. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and the necessities. There is a drawer in the laundry room that is full of things that you might have forgotten, just in case. We also love to do something special for our guests to make their stay more personal. Don't forget to tell us a little about yourselves and your interests and favorites treats, so we can add to your vacation experience!

We are close to Yellowstone Park, hiking, fishing, horseback riding, skiing, hot springs, shopping, and restaurants, and only 15 minutes from town and the airport.
