Amazing stay! The location was absolutely incredible with the proximity to the Gallatin River, and wonderful peace and quiet. I was in town for work, but was able to prioritize dinners on the front porch, and enjoyed the ringtail pheasants, magpies, and the deer! Hosts were thoughtful and great with communication, and I would definitely stay again when I return to Bozeman. The bed was comfy, and I loved having a drip coffee pot and Keurig option.

Thank you for the five-star review! Glad the location by the Gallatin River, peaceful porch dinners, and wildlife made your stay enjoyable. Happy the bed and both coffee options hit the mark, and we appreciate the note about our communication. We’d love to host you again when you return to Bozeman.

Great location for fishing Gallatin area. Ask about access to the river, which is easy but you have to know which gate to use. If you like live music and/or dancing, visit the Westerner right around the corner!

Thanks so much for the great review! We're happy you found the fishing access convenient once you knew the right gate. It's one of our favorite local spots too. And we agree that the Westerner is a fantastic place to unwind after a day on the river! Hope to welcome you back soon!
The place was very clean and cozy- great location in a remote area with spectacular views! Perfect if you are looking for a nice spot to bundle up with a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise. The entry key pad stopped working during our stay and we were able to get in contact with someone easily to get us in promptly. The only critique I have would be that a maintenance person came unannounced the next morning to fix the keypad and woke our sleeping baby, but if we didn’t have him with us it would have been a non-issue. I just wish we would have had some notice, but other than that I had an excellent experience!

The house was very clean and tidy with updated furniture and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The neighborhood was very quiet and walking in the area was pleasant. The one issue we encountered was that the air conditioning was not functioning properly. We texted the property manager asking for assistance and never heard back from anyone.

Cute spot very close to dirt road and 3 other homes.I started off with VRBO and my reservation moved to "Stay Montana" that had me sign a contract in 8 different spots. They also wanted a pic of my drivers lisc and also a selfie with the liscence. I refused to send the pics and asked out of contract, no go.

Thanks for the feedback. Sorry the ID and selfie verification felt intrusive — we require identity verification and signed rental agreements to meet local regulations and protect guests and property. I understand multiple signatures and photo requests can be off-putting; we’ll review our booking communications to make the process clearer and less burdensome. Glad you found the spot cute despite the proximity to the dirt road and neighboring homes. We appreciate you letting us know and hope to host you again.

The cabin is very nice inside, very clean, and comfortable. The beds great and the cooling system worked well with the extremely hot weather. Access to the fishing was excellent. It could use some condiments...at least some salt and pepper. There is one caveat to the place and I would not stay there again because of it. They have some AI lock system that automatically locks the door to the place at 8:00 PM. My brother and I were out on the porch watching the sunset and the house key was on the bar inside when we got locked out. His wife was in the shower and so there was no way to get in. Thank goodness, she wasn't on the porch with us, because we all would have been locked out the place that we paid for.

Timothy,
Thank you for your feedback. We're glad the cabin’s cleanliness, comfort, and cooling system met your expectations and that you enjoyed the fishing access. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the lock system and understand how frustrating that must have been. Your experience highlights an important area for us to improve, and we’ll review this to prevent future issues. Thanks again for sharing, and we appreciate your input.
