Further, full use of very bright, spacious living room, dining area and a separate full kitchen with washer/dryer. There is everything guest to feel like at home.

The property is conveniently Located at the Holland Park side of Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, the Dearest and the safest and more convenient part of London.
The room is in a very clean 2 beds and 2 baths flat based in a pottered modern building with lift. The second Bedroom and the 2nd bathroom is kept by the single owner occupier female economist, specialised on EU Economic integration and Finance, who still work and travel a lot. while not in London and while there is a guest, the owner closes her room and leaves the whole apartment to the guest.

This is definitely the right place to enjoy London in a well looked after private home, in one of the dearest parts of London.

The flat is situated in a very quiet, tree lined peaceful side road in between High Street Kensington and Holland Park Avenue. Holland Park /Kensington is the best part of Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

Along with the buses, Holland Park tube station is the closest one. 3 mins walk... Notting Hill on central line and Kensington High Street tube on circle and district line are also close by. Property will provide you an ideal base to discover London’s main attractions.

Further, for those who like walking and shopping, Holland Park, Westfield Shopping Centre, Notting Hill, Portobello Market, Kensington Palace and Royal Albert Hall etc are all in walking distant.

Many very good restaurants, markets coffees etc can be found on Holland Park Avenue, on Notting Hill, and on hight Street Kensington. All are in between 2 to 10 minutes’ walk away.

Von uns nicht empfohlen - Intransparente Vermietungspolitik

Zum Zeitpunkt der Buchung war aus der Objektbeschreibung nicht zu erkennen, dass die Vermieterin Maria in der Ferienwohnung anwesend sein kann, wenn diese an Gäste vermietet ist. Wir haben wegen der Wohnungsübergabe ca. 2 Wochen vorher Kontakt aufgenommen, aber keine Informationen erhalten und wussten bis dahin auch nicht, was uns erwarten könnte. Eine erste Kontaktaufnahme seitens der Vermieterin erfolgte erst drei Tage vor der geplanten Anreise und da erwähnte sie, dass sie entweder da ist oder nicht, also dort wohnt oder nicht. Dies haben wir FeWo-direkt gemeldet, was zunächst zur Folge hatte, dass das Inserat bei FeWo-direkt nicht mehr verfügbar war und per E-Mail der Hinweis einging, dass neue Reservierungen nicht mehr durch die Mit-Vertrauen-Buchen-Garantie geschützt werden. Maria hat daraufhin die Objektbeschreibung geändert, da sie wohl einen Verweis von FeWo-direkt erhalten hat. Nun erwähnt sie in der Objektbeschreibung wiederholt, dass sie während der Vermietung an Gäste in der Wohnung sein könnte. Wir empfehlen daher grundsätzlich einen Screenshot der Objektbeschreibung zum Zeitpunkt der Buchung. Mieten Sie jedenfalls bei Maria nur, wenn Sie damit klarkommen, dass Sie ggf. nur eine Mitwohngelegenheit, aber keine Ferienwohnung für sich alleine haben und wenn Sie sich nicht an der Anwesenheit der Vermieterin stören, worüber Sie, wie in unserem Falle, vorher nicht verlässlich informiert werden. Dann ist die Stornierungsfrist bezeichnenderweise längst abgelaufen.

This is my second time staying here! It’s the perfect location with a beautiful park and all your amenities nearby. The host is the best! She ensures that your stay in her spotlessly clean and comfortable home will be ready for you! I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Disappointed

Clean and spacious with en suite bath and lots of bedroom storage. It was a nice area and the building was secure. That’s where the positives end. Terribly hot in the flat, only one fan in the bedroom, wasn’t able to use the living room as it was too hot. The dining room chairs were so flimsy and wobbly, they were unusable. Bed made so much noise. Disgusting, rusted shower shelf for soap. Towel hook fell off the wall. I was cooking, for the second time, when part of the electricity went out. The owner blamed me, accused me of running something that caused it. The only thing I did differently was to turn on the fan over the stove. I even went into her dusty closet to check the fuse box for her. She sent out an electrician while I was out for the day. She didn’t bother to tell me that the issue was resolved, I had to reach out to her. Then she accused me of flipping a switch that caused it. I didn’t touch anything until after the power went out to try to resolve the the issue. I watered the plants for her. I ran three loads of laundry with no problems. On the fourth load, when I opened the door, water poured out. I asked if there was a mop and she blamed me again. I had to use the towels I had previously washed and dried just to clean it up. The Holland Park tube station was closed 4 times during my 7 day visit due to lack of staffing.

Great location

I had a great stay at Maria's apartment. I had exclusive use of it for my 8-day stay in London. It's clean and situated in a nice neighbourhood, with shops and the tube within 10-minute walk. Maria was responsive to messages and gave detailed instructions as to how to get to the apartment from the airport.

Great apartment/Great Location

Our host met us well before check in as we arrived very early. And she made us feel totally at ease and welcome. The location was terrific with restaurants & shops close by as was the Tube stop and lovely Park around the corner. Great find!

Kensington's Holland Park area is the best part of London to visit London.
Beside the convenient transport, buses to Oxford and hop on hop of bus stops, markets cafes restaurant and markets are are just around the corner.

What makes this property unique

Area, the Location, transport and the flat itself. I just love living here. Especially in Spring I enjoy the blossoms in the road. I love being very close to the Holland Park, Nothing Hill, the Portobello Market, the royal Albert Hall etc. All are in walking distance. Every body that stayed here loved being in the flat and in the area. A female German solicitor, came to live here for 2 month, but ended up stayed 11 month until she went back to Germany. There are regular, single ladies who consider my flat as their home in London so comes every year .
