About this property

Okemo Modern Mountain Escape - 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom house

The house is tucked away off the main street in Ludlow, VT and just 1 mile away from the entrance to Okemo Mountain Resort and Jackson Gore Inn & Resort. We are also just a short drive away from Killington Mountain Resort, Bromley Mountain Ski Resort, and Magic Mountain Ski Area.

The space
Our bright and spacious home has everything you need for your year round getaway!

Kitchen area: The home has a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, stocked with top of the line culinary equipment and appliances ideal for preparing the perfect meal. There is a great breakfast bar making the kitchen a great place for you and your friends to hang out while cooking.

Adjacent to the kitchen, you will find a large dining room where you can enjoy a delicious meal with friends and family. The dining room table can expand out to comfortably fit 7 guests. Beyond the dining room is a cosy living room with a built-in fireplace great for playing games or relaxing on the couch with a good book. It includes a 70" TV with a 4K Apple TV. Sliding doors lead out to the back deck that includes a picnic table.

Sleeping Arrangement:
- The home has a master suite upstairs with a queen bed and ensuite bathroom.
- There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor each with their own queen bed.
- We also have two bedrooms in the basement - one includes two twin beds, and another that includes a set of twin bunk beds ideal for children.

Backyard: Head outside to find a fire pit lined with chairs and enjoy your favorite backyard sports from soccer and frisbee to our own bocci ball set!

Games Area: The house includes a finished basement where you will find a dream of a game room complete with a 70" Amazon Fire TV, Nintendo Switch game console, ping pong table, mini basketball hoop, and extensive board game collection.

Office Space: We have two office desks - one in the master bedroom, and another on the second floor catwalk - that offer a perfect work-from-home area. We have a strong Xfinity wifi network in the house with a mesh network downloading at speeds of 700/mbps.

Parking: You will have access to our ground floor garage to park you car. There is also ample parking directly in front of the house for multiple vehicles.

Enjoy tons of available storage space in both closets and vanity dressers located in each bedroom.

We have extensive cleaning measures in place to ensure your health and safety are our top priority throughout your stay.

Perfect VT getaway

We came up to ski at Okemo for the weekend and couldn’t be happier with the accommodations. The house is very close to the mountain, very clean, and is well appointed with everything you need for your stay. Sebastian was quick to respond to questions. We highly recommend staying here!

Excellent - Great Location & Amenities

My family and I rented Sebastian's house for 5 weeks during Feb/March. We had an excellent stay and would highly recommend it to others. The house was as advertised - clean, updated, convenient location, and spacious. The house is over three levels which allows for plenty of space for families to spread out - lots of room to socialize with a big group or find some quiet privacy. Kitchen had everything one could possibly need - we cooked in most every night. Having access to the garage was great as we could pull the car in and not have to worry about cold/snow. An endless supply of firewood was available as well (and more was delivered and stacked during our stay). The property manager who lives on the street handled garbage removal and was available if any issues popped up. And the convenience to Okemo was terrific - I would ski with my kids in the morning, come home for lunch and leave the kids on mountain, and then pick them up at the mountain at the end of day - super easy and convenient. Best of all, Sebastian was super responsive and answered all of our questions. Definitely an A experience!

Wonderful House With Everything You Need

We'll be back! Comfortable and spacious, modern and clean. So many ski town houses are worn down / aged / dusty... that can be "charming," but this place is bright and open. Also, great host - we had to move our trip due to a COVID exposure in our family and he was very understanding and helped us find new dates so we didn't pay cancel charges. Thanks for a great stay!
