Sunset Rentals | Villamare 3520

Luxury meets comfort in this beautifully renovated 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom Villamare condo. The penthouse provides an open floor plan, ocean views and unbelievably updated kitchen and bathrooms.

The massive kitchen offers new cabinetry, granite counters and stainless appliances. The well-furnished living area provides comfortable seating, a wall-mounted flat screen and access to a balcony shared by the master bedroom.

The master bedroom features a king bed, flat screen TV and a private bathroom with a double vanity and a tiled walk-in shower.

The guest bedroom features 2 queen beds, a flat screen TV, private balcony and a private bathroom with a tiled walk-in shower. The bathroom can be accessed from a pocket door in the living area or the guest bedroom.

Please specify # of security gate passes are needed at time of reservation; Passes are charged per car per week.

Palmetto Dunes is a 2000 acre oceanfront resort that reaches from the 3 miles of white sandy beach, through 11 miles of lagoons, 3 golf courses, and 25 tennis courts, to the bikeway under highway 278 that provides access to the Shelter Cove Marina, shops, restaurants, and Mall.

Villamare, an oceanfront complex within Palmetto Dunes Resort, features an oceanfront pool and hot tub, an indoor heated pool, a fitness center, a sauna, and of course, the beach! Outdoor pool heated March 15th to June 1. The outdoor spa is heated year round. All beach distances are measured from the center of the complex.

Family vacation in palmetto dunes

Property management was terrific - extremely responsive and well organized, absolutely seemless. Loved the location - steps to the pool and beach, evening stroll to the general store for ice cream and treats, and a quick bike ride to Shelter Cove. Great resort in a great location.

Hilton Head Girls Trip

We had a relaxing stay with all the comforts of home. This condo had everything we needed in the kitchen, spacious bedrooms, nice bathrooms, and a beautiful view. The beds were not the most comfy in the guest bedroom and very squeaky but that is my only complaint. We had the most relaxing vacation! The beautiful beach and adult pool is where we stayed.

Great Stay

Property was very nice and clean and of course the Villamare was incredible. The family pool and serenity pool (adult pool) were beautiful and so fun! The bathrooms and kitchens of the unit are beautiful but the family room is sparsely furnished for being able to sleep 6 people. Regardless, we were rarely hanging out in the condo because the grounds and beach are so perfect!

Online photos deceiving. Television was totally outdated and almost impossible to change channels. Construction was ongoing even though we were told that it was completed in our area. We've rented 13 different condos at Villamare, sometimes staying months at a time. This was the worst of all.

Thank you for the feedback. I will pass along your notes on the Television. Construction for your area of the building has concluded. We did still note that the complex is undergoing construction through 2026. This is clearly noted in our description. We also called to let you know this. Often times, construction takes place in the Fall and we make every effort to alert guests. However, construction is the purview of the regime.

As advertised

Nice, clean place with a nice view of the pool and ocean. We had 5 (3 adults, 2 teenagers) and there was plenty of space. The kitchen was supplied with the basics and bedrooms/bathrooms where spacious.

Overall good property

Property provided a overall good experience. The beds were fairly comfortable and the shower pressure was good in both showers. The location was very convenient to the pools and beach. The main complaint was the quality and amount if toilet paper provided. Toilet paper is not really where owners should get cheap because it can have a lasting impression. I would definitely opt to bring your own if staying in this condo.

HHI stay

Overall we enjoyed the property. The complex is very nice, Palmetto Dunes never disappoints and the condo was updated and overall very nice. Suggestions would be to have more seating in the living area, instructions on TV(or better, consistent tech thru the home) and maybe some games or other items for those flying in(cards, etc). And there was no hairdryer…we have stayed at countless properties and they always have a hair dryer! So just some little things to make it more homelike. Otherwise would certainly stay there again.

Wonderful stay

We have stayed in the area before but the location for this villa is amazing. While the furthest building from the ocean you still have ocean view from the master. Its top floor and on the end so no loud neighbors. Kitchen had everthing needed if you prefer to cook your own meals and beds were comfortable. Things for awareness (not a make or break).... toilet paper provided, not good and ice maker in freezer couldnt keep up with three of us. There is a general store in walking distance.

Gorgeous View, Excellent Unit

This is the second time that we have stayed in this unit in the last 4 years. It is a great unit and we love staying with our family at Villamare. The proximity too shopping and activities is very convenient. We take a lot of bike rides and love to head over to Shelter Cove and use all of the trails around the area. The best part of course is the beach access. We spend most of our time at the beach and love to walk right out. The pool and hot tub are always part of our day while visiting. This unit offers a fabulous view of the ocean. Sitting on the patio listening to the waves is incredible. The unit is simple, clean, and spacious enough for our family of six ranging in age from 15-3. We cooked in the unit often. It is very spacious and convenient with a large kitchen area. Well sized rooms and bathrooms. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this unit. The property management was very accommodating and the process from beginning to end was seamless. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
