Our unit is close to the indoor pool and health club and is only a short walk through lush vegetation to the ocean and large brand new 2 outdoor pools. This luxurious first floor villa offers a spacious living and dining area with a large master bedroom with a king-sized bed and private bathroom with a large soaking tub. The second bedroom has two queen beds and a private bath. The living room has a queen sleeper-sofa providing three sleeping areas. A balcony is located off each bedroom and the living room.

When entering the large and modern 1200 square foot villa, guests will appreciate the fully equipped kitchen, and spacious living/dining area. This bright villa offers tile floors throughout the living area. New sofa bed couch and love seat sofa and living room chair. The living room boasts a 55” flat screen television with DVD player. The updated kitchen offers granite countertops, stainless appliances, and slight ocean views. New LG full size front load free washer and dryer in the villa. There is a breakfast bar with 2 stools, Keurig and drip coffee makers, and also a dining table that seats 6 comfortably.

The master bedroom is behind the French doors, located just off the living area. It has a king size bed, 40” flat screen TV and a private updated bathroom with granite counter tops, custom cabinets and all new fixtures, as well as a separate room with a newly tiled glass enclosed shower. There is also a large soaking tub in the bedroom. You have access to the balcony that is shared with the living room from the master bedroom. You can hear the waves crashing while you’re lying in bed!

The 2nd master bedroom which is on the other side of the living area from the main master has 2 queen beds, and an updated private bath with shower. 40 inch tv. This bedroom has its own private balcony with chairs and table for taking in the ocean area after a long day at the beach.

Guests staying in our Villamare villa have access to all the amenities the Palmetto Dunes community and Hilton Head has to offer. These include free world class tennis- pickle ball facilities, excellent golf courses from $39 including cart, covered parking, 4 free beach cruiser bikes, Free fire works on Tuesday nights in season, 4 free quality beach chairs, free secure high speed wi fi, great cable tv with free movies, 5 free outdoor gas grill area and picnic tables, access to ocean front bars and restaurant, and beach facilities at the Dunes house and restaurants and ocean front bar at the Hilton-Marriott next door past our great grill area.

Perfect family vacation spot!! Our family (including kids 7, 5 YO) had the most wonderful time! Mike’s communication and attention to all details pre/during/post visit were extremely helpful. While not immediately ocean front, it’s one of the best units in the building on the first floor just steps away from the pool in one direction and beach path in the other, with side views of the ocean. We loved our bike rides, tidal pool playing, dolphin and nature cruise with the Discovery Nature Museum, boating charter with Captain Herb at Fins Up Adventure Charters and so much more!! The updated pool, hot tub and pool deck at Villamare were amazing. We hope to be back.

The 2 new ocean front main pools and a heated indoor pool are the best for a great vacation. The villa is located 30 steps from the beach and from the pictures you can see how close we are. We are villa # 3132 1 floor up from the beach with covered parking to protect your vehicle . The villa has nice looks of one of the best beaches on the East Coast . With our rental you had 4 free bikes, 4 beach chairs, access to a great beach club and golf club houses, free tennis or pickle ball, 4 free ocean front gas grills with granite cooking area, huge gas fire pit, and much more. We just updated with a new kitchen, new $5,000 sofa-love seat, new full size stack LG washer-dryer, convection stove, slim line microwave . We can't wait till you return as you stated in our guest book like so many previous guests that we give a special discount to do. Thank you so much again

We had the opportunity to say at Villamare over spring break 2025 and we were amazed at our surroundings. This property is simply perfect for a relaxing vacation. We loved the location on within the complex. Being on the first floor was really convenient for quick trips back to the room from the pool or beach. The beach was probably less than 30 yards away from our room. Because of our location, our room was very quiet and we did not hear excess noise from the pool or people going to the beach, even with being so close to both.My wife and I were still able to enjoy our coffee while watching the sunrise over the sandy beach from the balcony of our room. The facility was wonderful and the property had everything we needed. The owners were extremely responsive and gave us quite a bit of helpful insider information. Palmetto dunes was a great location to stay at with a wonderful beach, and away from the crazy busy beaches, but still very close to the shopping and restaurants around the island. We went to One Hot Mama's, Holy Tequila and the Salty Dog Cafe for meals and took a dolphin tour with Island Explorer tours. All were amazing! Hilton Head is a short drive to Savannah, GA so we took a day trip there and discovered all of the wonderful history there. This property was centerpiece for a perfect vacation with our family. We are desperately counting the days until we can book this place again and enjoy it next year.

Dear Larry and family, we are so happy you had a great two weeks at our home on the beach. We are there now sitting on the deck watching the waves and having a refreshment. The southern protected exposures make it warm no matter what the temps are. It's 65 and sunny today but the thermometer reads 82. The ocean front pool gets heated later this month but there is a good number of sunbathers on the great deck and in the hot tub jacuzzi. We will be grilling steaks on one of the 6 outdoor ocean front free gas grills with granite counters tonight. Add the fire pit under the stars tonight and it will be a perfect end to a beautiful day. We are thrilled that you got to do so many of our suggested activities and great restaurants. We can't wait to you make your return visit, Mike and Peggy

Fantastic condo

We had a wonderful time at this condo, the proximity to the pool and beach were great and the condo it self was very homey and comfortable. The indoor pool and gym were a bonus for rainy days! Would stay here again and our hosts were fantastic!

Wonderful Family Reconnect

Had a wonderful week with our adult children (who flew in from different parts of the country). The condo was perfect size and layout. The best pools we’ve ever stayed at in our 5 trips to HH. Condo was clean, kitchen well-equipped and beautiful. Great beach access and beautiful landscaping/ponds. Suggest some updates to some of the furniture, but otherwise really a nice place. Bike and beach chairs such a plus! Love Palmetto Dunes and surrounding area. Host was awesome at communication.

5/5 Great Vacation This was our third trip to HHI Palmetto Dunes and Villamare is by far our favorite. Condo is exactly as photos show.....beautiful & clean. Beds are super comfortable and we all slept great. Condo has great location close to pool and beach. Stairway right by condo and being on first floor, we just used those. Mike is an excellent host and gets back to you quickly if you need to reach out to him. There are lots of restaurants to choose from and I can't say we chose any we didn't like. If you want a fancier dinner, we go to Alexander's and always enjoy it. If you love ice cream, make sure to stop by Kilwin's at Shelter Cove (5 minute drive). Worth the wait in line....best ice cream we ever had! Met so many great people in that hot tub and pool! You absolutely cannot have a bad time in HHI no matter the weather.

Hilton Head Vacation

We thought the property was awesome, and provided all ameneties and things we enjoy. We love Palmetto Dunes due to it's location (it's right in the middle of the island), and the availability of pickleball/tennis/golf/bikes.We loved Crane's Tavern for dinner - their filet and crabcake were wonderful, and our friend says their prime rib is even better. We also enjoyed Alexander's for dinner. The ambience was great. The Dawg in Shelter Cove was the best for lunch, especially to sit at the bar.

Great location...close to the beach! The 2 separate bedrooms were very nice and private. We enjoyed the free bikes and on-site fitness facility. The condo was very clean and decorated nicely!

Lovely stay by the beach!

We had a great experience staying at this condo! Mike was quick to communicate which I appreciated. The location is right by the pool and beach which was nice especially with a toddler and a baby. We’d love to stay here again and recommend it to others!

Perfect return trip to HHI This is our second year in a row staying at this property. It is truly lovely. I am so glad that we decided to return. This place has it all! clear view of the ocean proximity to the pool and the beach. The location on the property was so important since we have small children that need frequent trips back to the unit each day. The managers were very responsive, although we did not need much because everything was explained very clearly before we arrived. Villamare is centrally located right on the beach and close to everything on the island. We had a great time at Villamare. The property was fantastic with the pools, hot tubs and gym. The condo itself was nice as well. The beach chairs, bikes, pickle ball courts and games were awesome perks. The condo is around a four minute walk to the beach which was nice. However if you’re looking for beach views from your windows or balconies you might be disappointed (it’s only a sliver). The room had a perfect set-up so everyone felt they had their own space/privacy. Mike and Peggy were great hosts.
