This property is just as pictured. Fantastic views, very clean and close to so many wineries and vineyards. Only a 2.20 drive to Niagra Falls. We enjoyed it all. I would highly recommend.
The property was exceptional. It was probably one of the nicest places we’ve stayed and definitely the nicest in the Finger Lakes. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
We have been coming for several years, usually with an event on Seneca Lake. We try to book this property immediately because we love staying here! It’s always perfectly appointed and cozy. A family favorite!
The cabin was new and immaculate. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed sitting out at the fire ring. It was easy to access all that Seneca has to offer!
The Chalet cabin is located approximately half way between Geneva and Watkins Glen, and not far from Penn Yan which made exploring these places really convenient. We enjoyed the fire pit every night during our 5 night stay. The location is quiet and peaceful.
The Chalet was amazing. The best property that we have stayed at at the Finger Lakes. We went up for my birthday and totally enjoyed the peace and quiet. Loved the layout and the view. Only thing I missed was a clock radio in the main bedroom. I am a early riser, so listening to the radio in the bedroom helps me wake up in the morning. Thank you for the bottle of wine, we enjoyed it Wednesday with dinner. We will be back. Thanks.
Very clean, sparse amenities, kitchen could use updated towels, potholders had to buy a scrubber to clean stainless steel pans Neighbors facing property across the street not shown in pictures, no access to lake from property. All privately owned.
We had a wonderful winter weekend at this beautiful vacation home. Everything went smoothly from booking to departure. The house has just about everything we needed. We spent Wild Card Sunday watching hours of football so another comfy couch (or a couple of cushy chairs) would have made it perfect. We're already talking about coming back!
the chalet was modern with stylish furnishings. Outdoor furniture was perfect for the porch and firepit.
Very few kitchen items; missing cutting board and basic spices. All the dishes and glassware you would need.
Beds were comfortable and bathrooms where well equipped.
Would stay here again.
Only minor item, we were at the chalet 10 minutes early and could not get into the place.

Thank you for the lovely review! As a reminder, our check in time is set for 4pm and our locks are electronic—the code will not activate until the proper check in time.
We do have a fully stocked kitchen with cookware, bakeware, and yes, cutting boards (we’ve had several guests miss finding those). We do not supply kitchen food items such as flour/sugar/coffee or more assorted spices—guests will need to bring any food items with them.
The house was really beautiful - nicely decorated, crisp linens, ample room. We really enjoyed our stay and everything that was described in the listing was correct. A couple of suggestions would be to provide bath mats and a hand towel each for the number of people staying. Paper products were a little sparse for a 7 day stay.
That said, we made due and it didn’t spoil our trip at all. Many thanks to the Lingers! Loved it!
My family and I really enjoyed our short getaway to the Lake Seneca region of upstate NY. Like many have commented before, the cabin is one of the cleanest and well-maintained properties you will find. The setting is absolutely gorgeous, overlooking Lake Seneca from afar. Everything inside the cabin was functional and modern. Functional gas grill on the front deck and a spacious fire pit off the rear deck. We really enjoyed both, to grill my son's favorite meals, to burn a wonderful campfire and do Smores. Perfect setting for a family. We look forward to our next visit!! Five stars all day long.
The house was exactly as we expected. Was very quaint and quiet location, a last minute get away before the holidays. The view was great, and we enjoyed the fire pit at night we even saw a shooting star. We were only there for 2 nights so what was in the house for appliances we could work with. However if staying a week, more options on appliances would be helpful. Other than that, the place was fabulous and would stay there again. Highly recommend.
One of the nicest properties that we have ever stayed at - and that's saying a lot! Extremely clean, well-appointed with all modern amenities! Kitchen space is perfect with lots of pots and pans for home-cooked meals. Close to wineries on Seneca Lake and Keuka Lake. Grill was clean and functional, fire pit was perfect to sit around at night and picnic table was brand new. Only slight drawback is that both the couch and master bed were somewhat low and soft - hard for taller people. Other than that - absolutely perfect. 5 stars*****
We have been visiting the finger lakes region for many years and have recently gotten on board with the Air B&B/VRBO trend. This was the second rental we stayed in this year and we will definitely be back. Central location on the west side of the Seneca lake wine trail, 15-20 minutes to both Watkins Glen and Geneva. Also a quick trip to Keuka lake. The home was clean, bright and the rooms were tastefully decorated, which is a nice bonus. High ceilings made it feel even more spacious. Absolutely loved the outdoor area with covered porch, view of the lake, and beautiful picnic table/chairs and firepit which we were able to enjoy the first night. There are other homes and rentals in the area, but we had plenty of privacy. Kitchen was spacious and had most of what we needed to make breakfast and snacks with a few exceptions. Host was able to accomodate an earlier check in which was helpful as we only stayed for two nights. Communication was great. Looking foward to staying again in the warmer months when we can really make the most of the outdoor space.
