7 Felton - Just two blocks to the beach!

This charming beach home is situated on a quiet dead end street and a short walk to Lewes Beach. Walk or bike into Lewes and Cape Henlopen State Park. Cozy front porch to enjoy morning sunshine and a screened porch out back for afternoon shade. This beach house has 2 bedrooms downstairs, one with a queen bed and the other with 2 twin beds that could be pushed together. Upstairs is a spacious loft with one queen bed and 2 twin beds. The stairs to the upstairs are spiral so not suitable for small children or someone with mobility issues. There are Mitsubishi units for A/C and heat in each room downstairs and one window A/C unit in the loft. Two TV's, one on the screened porch and the other in the living room. Come and enjoy the peaceful surroundings for the perfect beach getaway.

All guests must supply their own sheets, towels and beach towels or OPT in for our linen rental package.

Needs some upgrades

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The kitchen is lacking in anything of quality. What utensils, pots, pans, plates, cups, etc. that are there are old and in poor condition. The Keurig coffee maker didn't work, and the regular coffee pot did a poor job. The entire kitchen could really use an overhaul. If you're not planning on cooking or using the kitchen much, the rest of the property is adequate. Unless I was informed that significant upgrades and remodeling were done to the property, I wouldn't stay there again.

Great location, cute cottage

Reviewer Comments: We had a great time staying at 7 Felton Ave. We didn't use the outdoor amenities like the shower as it was winter, but overall the property was very nice. We walked to the beach regularly. The rental agent was super helpful and quick to resolve a wi-fi issue. Perhaps better instructions on use of the tv are in order, other than "ask a 6 year old" which is truly not helpful. The only three rental improvements I'd mention are that 1) it was clean, but seemed like it had been cleaned a long time prior (dead spider/webs in bathtub); 2) there could be more silverware - we ran out regularly way before plates/bowls were used; and 3) rental agency could do a better job giving info about type of coffee maker/appliances and what is on property in terms of basic starter supplies such as soap/detergent/aluminum foil/salt/sugar etc. We brought everything, but then found tons of soap, dish detergent, laundry detergent, salt/pepper etc. I wish I hadn't had to pack all that stuff if it was there already!
