Welcome to the Blue Ridge Mountains! This one bedroom studio in the Rumbling Bald Resort is close to Chimney Rock, Asheville, Hendersonville and Tryon. It's the perfect start to adventure or relaxation!

Apple Valley Villas is a cozy spot with all the basic amenities you need during your visit to the Lake Lure area. The space is equipped with a kitchen, full bathroom and a living room/sleeping area. The tv can be enjoyed from any area in the room. The king sized bed is plenty of space for two people to rest comfortably. If you need additional sleeping area, the sofabed is brand new with a Sealy mattress. Its double size can comfortably sleep two children or one adult. The kitchen table has two drop leaves to give you plenty of room to walk around it or for two people to sit and have a meal. If you open the leaves, then the table can actually accommodate eight people, which is perfect if you are also renting the adjoining unit and want to dine or play games together. Almost any meal could be prepared in the villa using the cooktop, microwave or toaster oven. Enjoy a complimentary pot of coffee on your first morning. Step out onto the balcony for a breath of fresh air. Settle into one of the four outdoor chairs and read a good book or just relax.

Guest passes are complimentary with your reservation to access the member areas of the Rumbling Bald Resort, including two outdoor pools (seasonal), spa complex with indoor pool and exercise room, miniature golf, boating, hiking and two championship golf courses. On site restaurants offer delicious and readily available options.

Cozy spot to spend a rainy Valentine's weekend

This little villa was cozy and charming! The ammenities were well thought out, clean, and practical. Plenty of space for board games and pets to lounge. The back porch is also really great for a slow morning with coffee in hand! We had a tasty dinner in the resort and hiked the Buffalo Creek trails. This was a great weekend getaway!

Overall the place was clean . The bathroom window latch was broken and wouldn't lock. It was nice that we had access to the indoor pool at Rumbling Bald resort because it rained almost all weekend, other than that we had a great stay.

It was a great getaway! Place was as shown on the pictures and good for 2 people. The walls and the connecting door (we guessed that’s what it was) were too thin and we could hear the other villa’s tv. Overall it was good!

Casey is super responsive and the listing is 100% accurate. The studio was perfect as it has everything you could need and is comfortable in space. Super clean. Location is a 4 min drive to the Rumbling Bald resort and having a pass to enjoy the resort was amazing. The studio is pet friendly and the restaurants with seating outside are as well which made it even better for us to have a true family stay!

Perfect studio mountain/lake villa for myself and 2 sons! We were close to both chimney rock and lake lure! My kids loved mini golf and basketball at the clubhouse! The twinkle lights on the balcony at night was my favorite way to wind down the action packed day! Casey was great with sending any info i needed for the rental and answered all of my touristy questions! Will definitely book again!

Cozy Studio perfect for 2!

The studio apt is cozy, clean and has everything you need! It's a short drive to Rumbling Bald resort and has free passes to use their facilities! There is also a convenience store a 5 minute walk away. The studio also has a sleeper sofa where 2 small children would be comfortable! Definitely recommend!

Cozy Villa Vacation

I wanted to take a solo trip for the first time in my 27 years on this earth, and I wanted to stay near Asheville. I chose Lake Lure because of its proximity, but also because I wanted to be in the woods so I could have a nice and relaxing escape. I couldn't have picked the more perfect spot with this listing! The bed is big and comfy with plenty of pillows, the heater in the bathroom was perfect for showering in the colder months, and the TV was plentiful with options for when I was tucked in for the night. There wasn't much traffic on the road outside the villa, but the traffic that was there was hardly noticeable. I woke up to see the sunrise one morning and sat on the back porch with a cup of tea (complimentary in the kitchenette!) And watched the sunrise and heard the birds chirping. If you're looking for a serene get away, definitely book here! The host was in constant communication, and the check out instructions were easy to complete. I would definitely stay here again.
