Avoid - Extorted Money

The apartment is nice enough and in a good location for the area. The issues are with the host and listing. Upon arrival, I was told I needed to pay 130 in cash for a "linen fee". This information is nowhere in VRBO and was not communicated prior to the day of arrival. This cash was required to get the keys. Being in a foreign country with nowhere else to go, I had no choice but to pay. I am currently escalating the situation with VRBO.Furthermore, only one bath towel per guest was provided. When I asked if any hand or face towels were available, I was told "No. Everything in the listing is provided." The listing says towels are provided. It is reasonable to expect that would include towels to dry my hands in the bathroom and kitchen. Linen fee?! Lastly, the checkout instructions are extreme and the guests are expected to strip beds, wash dishes/empty the dishwasher and put away, clean the entire place before leaving, and take out trash. With checkout being a very early 10am, I am not sure how I am supposed to use any dishes the morning of departure and make sure they are clean if I am unable to use the dishwasher and have no towels to dry any dishes I just washed.FYI: there are two beds in the loft and the stairs are very steep and small. There is a handrail on the wall, but not on the exposed side. This can be dangerous and you must be careful.This is a wonderful area of France, and this community is nice. Avoid this listing and seek other accommodation.

Ziemlich ungenügend es gibt kein W-LAN nur ein Duschhandtuch pro Person der Vermieter hat zwar recht wenn er darauf hinweist, dass das genau seiner Anzeige entspricht - aber er weist in seiner Anzeige auch nicht darauf hin, dass die Balkontür nur sehr sehr schwer zu öffnen ist, die Fenster blind sind, der Tisch und der Wäscheständer auf dem Balkon total verrostet sind und die Stühle dort kaputt sind. Auf nachfrage bei der Agentur erhielt ich die Antwort wir sind am Ende der Saison und der Eigentümer will nichts mehr investieren! Das war am 01.09.! Der Parkplatz ist super und sicher! Der Sonnenschutz auf dem Balkon ist nicht vorhanden. Die Sonne scheint dort am Vormittag und man kann nicht auf dem Balkon frühstücken ohne SonnenschutzDer Vermieter hat eine Anleitung per WhatsApp geschickt, die auch sehr schlüssig war, wie man in die Wohnung kommt allerdings kann man das nur verstehen, wenn man einigermaßen Französisch kann, was bei mir zum Glück der Fall ist - eine persönliche Übergabe und Erklärung hat es nicht gegeben - weder bei An- noch Abreise …

Moderne gemütliche Wohnung in Port Grimaud 3

Wohnung: sauber, neu renoviert, gemütlich, toller Blick aiuf die Boote. Ein Sonnenschirm auf dem Balkon ist ratsam. Fester Parkplatz direkt gegenüber auf dem Parkdeck. Restaurants, Bäcker...direkt am Verkehrskreisel. Wohnung liegt an verkehrsreicher Straße.
