Excellent rural location

We stayed at this location for 60 days. It is on a cattle farm that dates to the mid 1600's within 5 km of the town of Le Bugue which has all of the comforts you should need. The property is well outfitted and very clean and quiet. The property puts you basically in the center of the Perigord region which has many things to offer. The hosts are very kind and helpful.

Lovely quiet location

The hosts were very helpful. The dog proof garden was crucial for us. Any questions we had were responded to very quickly. The walk into the town was not long and quite lovely, but rather steep. Fun for a couple of days.

ondanks het atypische regenachtige septemberweer hebben we genoten van de mooie omgeving, de vriendelijke gastvrouw en de leuke koeien, kalfjes en de ezeltjes

Une semaine au cœur du Périgord noir dans un gite chaleureux

La centaurée est un gite chaleureux et très bien équipé en plein cœur du Périgord noir, à quelques kilomètres des sites les plus merveilleux et authentiques de la région. Nous avons passé de très belles soirées à diner en profitant de l'air pur et de la vue sur les prés et collines environnantes. Merci aux Saint-Amand ! Une 6ème étoile pour les oreillers moelleux à souhait :)

Gîte de charme

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine au gîte « La Centaurée ». L’accueil fut très cordial. Le gîte correspondait exactement au descriptif de l’annonce, il est lumineux, cosy, pratique et la vue dégagée du jardin est magnifique. Nous n’hésiterons à y retourner.

Perfekter Standort zur Erkundung des Perigords

Wir hatten einen wunderbare Woche in diesem schönen Ferienhaus, in dem es an nichts wesentlichem fehlt. Alles war tiptop in Ordnung und die Lage perfekt, ruhig, aber nicht völlig abgelegen. Der Empfang war unkompliziert. Einfach ein rundum gelungenger Aufenthalt.

Idyllisch gelegenes freundliches Häuschen

Wir haben eine Woche in dem idyllisch gelegen Ferienhaus verbracht. Den umzäunten Garten stand uns alleine zur Verfügung und war perfekt für unseren Hund. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und uns erwartete bei Ankunft ein prasselndes Kaminfeuer! Es gibt in der Umgebung sehr viel zu sehen.

geruhsame Ferien auf einem Bauernhof

Sehr sauberes, gut heizbares , sehr helles Bauernhaus. Sehr netter Empfang von den sympathischen Eigentümern, die gegenüber wohnen. Die Kaution beträgt 300 Euro, in Scheinen, die bei der Abreise wieder ausgehändigt werden, nachdem man das Haus aufgeräumt und besenrein übergeben hat. Es gibt keine Zusatzkosten für Strom,(auch nicht für die Elektroheizung) Wasser, Bettwäsche, Reinigung. Das Anwesen liegt auf der Ebene hoch über dem Ort Le Bugue. Also bleibt man im Herbst (Ende Oktober) vom Nebel, der sich im Tal der Vezere bildet,verschont und kann die Sonne im abgeschlossenen Garten auf Gartenstühlen und Sonnenliegen (die Auflagen liegen im Wohnzimmerschrank!!!!) genießen. Es gibt einen freundlichen Hund, eine charmante Farmkatze und 80 Kühe mit Kälbern auf der Weide. Absolute Ruhe und doch verkehrsgünstig zu den Highlights der Dordogne gelegen. Zum Einkaufen braucht man ein Auto, denn die Supermärkte befinden sich in Le Bugue , im Tal. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, alles funktionierte. Die Spülmaschine und die Waschmaschine haben wir nicht benutzt Wir haben es genossen die doch schon sehr kalten Abende in den bequemen Sitzmöbeln vor dem Feuer zu verbringen. Auch die Betten sind komfortabel. Das Wlan funktionierte gut . Filme auf dem Laptop stotterten, allerdings nicht auf dem Tablet. Wir haben den vorhandenen Fernseher nicht benutzt, da es wohl nur frz. Programme gibt. Er hat keine USB-Schnittstelle. Wir haben uns die 2 Wochen in der 2. Oktoberhälfte sehr wohl gefühlt. Es gab noch einige warme , sommerliche Tage und ansonsten optimale Temperaturen für Besichtigungen mit wenigen ,meist französischen Touristen. Sehr angenehm. Chère Mme cher M. Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine de vacances dans ce gîte avec mon mari et ma fille de 2 ans! Au calme, très belle vue, dans la nature. Le gîte en lui-même était très fonctionnel ! Et très bien situé, beaucoup de choses à faire dans les environs, la région est magnifique !

Un havre de paix

Great location in a very peaceful setting

We enjoyed our stay for 5 days at this 2 bedroom cottage situated on a working farm. The kitchen has all the amenities needed and the lounge area offers the opportunity for a real log fire. There are 2 bedrooms, one with a double and the other with 3 singles. There is a nice outside area that enjoys the sun ( the only thing that let’s it down is the lack of garden loungers or umbrella). Be aware that you will be required to leave a €300 CASH deposit at the start of your stay. Overall a lovely place to stay for a short break.

Très belle semaine au Bugue

Location très bien placée pour découvrir la Dordogne. Situation centrale. Maison un peu à l'écart de la ville donc au calme, vu sur la campagne et les quelques vaches ... Un bout de terrain pour jouer au ballon ou prendre l'apéro. Maison bien faite, la cheminée est agréable, espace suffisant pour nous 5. Hôtes très accueillants et serviables. A refaire !!
