At approximately 1,069 sq. ft., 1703 feels exceptionally spacious for a one-bedroom and is designed for comfort, privacy, and easy indoor-outdoor living.

The living room opens through large sliding glass doors to a private furnished lanai overlooking the Pacific — an ideal place for morning coffee, breakfast, reading, or relaxing at sunset.

The primary suite has a king-size bed and its own separate access to a quiet garden patio, giving you another private outdoor space to enjoy.

This property is great. Amazing location, with beautiful sunsets every day from the lanai. Very well equipped, property management was incredible, there was nothing at all to complain about, only enjoy! Will definitely recommend and stay at this condo again!

Beautifully decorated condo with great ocean view, well outfitted kitchen, comfortable bed. Air conditioned and very comfortable. We were two, but four could work due to two bathrooms, (but other two would be in the living room). Some road noise, but otherwise perfect. Highly recommend.

Great setup in beautiful Wailea.

Joe was very responsive and helpful. The unit was clean, well laid out and well stocked with cooking requirements, utensils, dishes, wine glasses and martini glasses (thanks!). 15 minute walk to the beach path which makes for a great morning workout. Pool and grill were within 120 steps of the unit. Very nice place to spend some time on Maui.

Beautiful View!

We’ve stayed in this general area previously and love the proximity to the beach, shops and restaurants. The condo was clean, given its age. It was nice that it was part of Hyatt since they could bring us some extra coffee filters and towels for our long stay. They were super responsive and even brought us cookies that were delicious. The view from the patio was spectacular! The grounds were also nicely maintained. We did not go to the pools but walked by them, and they were nice. Not crowded and clean. Kitchen fully stocked with dishes; although, we ate out most of the time. Our only concern with this property was the upstairs person. She was on our back patio one day and caught her by the front door 3 times when we came back from being out. She also came down to close our screen door when we were there which startled us. While I’m not sure why she was hovering over the unit, she appeared friendly when we saw her. I hid my valuables for this reason. Maybe having a safe inside would be beneficial. Overall a nice property, though.

Great condo

Had a great time at this condo. Beautiful view. It's a short walk down to the Wailea shops. A bit up hill to get back, but good excercise. It's near the road, but road noise is very minimal. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your lovely place.

Relaxing Piece of Paradise

My husband and I really enjoyed staying at this property. It was a short drive to Ulua beach and a quick walk to the Shops at Wailea. We loved the view from the lanai, where we enjoyed our take-out at every lunch and dinner. It was the perfect size and location for us. The complex was also so quiet despite it being a busy time of year to visit. Looking forward to another stay in the future!

Superb Stay

My wife & I selected this property after a lot of looking across Vrbo & other competitors I apparently am not allowed to name in this review…. We normally aim to stay as close to the beach as possible, but this time decided to stay upland a bit…. And we have ZERO regrets about that choice! The property is wonderfully placed, only a short drive (3-5 minutes) from the beach and easily accessible to shopping & great restaurants. The absolute best thing about the spot was the view though. In fact, I’d say the pictures posted here don’t actually do the view justice. We would spend every moment we could enjoying the view - mornings enjoying the view, some coffee and reading the news, but especially when the sunset occurred directly in our sight line. Next time we go back to Maui, this place will be on the top of our list to check!

Great time of year to visit and this place was great. Parking spots were hard to come by two of the nights as they are not assigned. We just walked a bit :). The unit had no issues and the Check-in Desk Customer Service folks were lovely. I had emailed the owner regarding our check-in and didn't hear back regarding the actual address of the unit. I needed that for our airline ticket check-in details from Canada as they require to know where you're staying. I had to use the unit number my daughter was staying in as I knew we were in the same complex. Comfy bed, great view, and it's Maui!

Exceptional experience for my first visit to Maui.

My sister who is an owner in the Ekolu complex, rented this condo for us and given it was our very first trip to Maui, the condo was perfect! Magnificent ocean, and serene lush views. The condo was very comfortable. Great location and an easy walk to shops and dining. We would most definitely rent this unit again.

Great location and view

We stayed for 5 nights and this place was perfect. Nice location; just a short walk down to the Wailea resorts and restaurants. The unit is off the main road enough that we did not notice any regular noise from traffic. The Lanai felt very private and had a lovely view - perfect spot to watch the sunset. Overall great value and we'd love to return!.

Beautiful place

We enjoyed this beautiful condo - it was very clean and comfortable. The lanai is lovely and the bed very comfortable. Our only issue was the noise. Mostly the traffic noise early in the morning- sounds like Indy 500! Crazy. Also guy sweeping sidewalks at 6:00 a.m. didn’t help. If it weren’t for the noisy location, it would be perfect.

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and have been coming to Maui for many years. Of all the places on the island, Wailea has always been my favorite, and I think you’ll understand why as soon as you arrive.

What I love most about this condo is the combination of peace, privacy, ocean views, and location. It feels quiet and relaxing, yet you’re just minutes from some of Maui’s best beaches, restaurants, shopping, and golf.

Over the years, friends and family who have stayed here consistently say the same thing: the condo is incredibly comfortable, the setting is peaceful, and the location makes it easy to enjoy everything Wailea has to offer.

I hope you enjoy it as much as we have.

Why they chose this property

I chose Wailea because, for me, it offers the best of Maui in one place — beautiful beaches, warm sunny weather, a peaceful upscale atmosphere, and easy access to great restaurants, shopping, and golf.

After visiting Maui year after year, I realized Wailea was always the place I wanted to come back to. I originally considered buying a timeshare, but when I discovered the opportunity to actually own a condo here, it felt like a dream come true.

What drew me to this particular location was the combination of privacy and convenience. From the condo, you can walk to The Shops at Wailea and nearby beaches, while Makena and some of South Maui’s most beautiful coastline are just minutes away.

The setting itself is what made 1703 especially appealing to me — the palm trees, ocean views, quiet surroundings, and private feel create exactly the kind of atmosphere I always hoped to find in Maui.

What makes this property unique

What makes this property especially unique is its setting.

This ground-floor, single-level condo offers the convenience of no stairs while still enjoying the kind of ocean view you would normally expect from an upper-level unit. Positioned on a semi-private bluff toward the back of the community, it feels peaceful and private, with views of palm trees, the Pacific Ocean, and Molokini in the distance.

Just beyond the lanai is a large grassy area that opens toward the ocean, giving the condo an unusually spacious indoor-outdoor feel and making the setting especially relaxing.

The location within Wailea Ekolu is also hard to beat. The pools, BBQ area, and parking are all just steps away, while Wailea’s beaches, shops, restaurants, and golf are close by.

Guests especially appreciate the combination of privacy, convenience, and unobstructed views. The condo sits along the Wailea Old Blue Golf Course, is approximately a 10-minute walk from the ocean, and is a short drive from many of South Maui’s best beaches.

Inside, the condo is well-maintained and comfortable, with thoughtful updates including luxury vinyl plank flooring in the primary bedroom, a wall-mounted TV, and a private lanai with ocean views.

It’s a rare combination in Wailea: ground-floor convenience, privacy, generous outdoor space, and an elevated ocean-view feel.
