This condo is a 2 BR, 1 BA loft on the second floor of a Victorian storefront on F Street in historic downtown Salida, CO. It is furnished with fun, colorful mid-century decor including several local artists' work. Tall windows and a vintage skylight fill the place with natural light. The unit has a remodeled kitchen and bath, as well as a large shared deck with awesome mountain views in all directions. Walk to everything!

It is one of 6 residential units in this building, so it is definitely apartment style living. This is no dedicated parking for this apartment, so please be aware you will need to find street parking or use the public lots nearby.

Cute, easy stay right in the middle of downtown Salida. Bedrooms were spacious, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking – although we ended up walking to many of the great restaurants in town instead! Loved having the coffee shop right next door.

This place...if you want to experience Salida, you need to stay here! Not only is the location prime, but this cute and comfortable apartment embodies the artistic whimsy of the town. They have seriously thought of everything at this place and you're a hop skip and a jump from great food, great shopping, and great hikes! Highly recommend this place for your next Salida stay!

We really enjoyed the clean and comfortable accomodations in an awesome location! The hosts have great attention to detail in creating a great place to stay. We loved having this as our home base while enjoying a couple of days skiing up at Monarch. Very convenient to enjoy the nearby restaurants and shops. We can't wait to return!

We had a very comfortable stay in the loft. We liked being right in the middle of downtown. It was also great to have a coffee shop right downstairs. We were worried about finding parking, but it wasn't an issue. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had what we needed for our stay. Great value.

We recently stayed at this condo and found several things to love about it. The space is cute, colorful, and inviting, and the location is excellent for exploring Salida.Unfortunately, the cleanliness did not meet our expectations. When we arrived, there were clumps of hair in the shower, the bathroom rugs appeared dirty, and the carpets were covered with pet hair. We also noticed dust bunnies under the tables and furniture. I ended up washing the bathroom rugs myself and tried vacuuming, but there was still a significant amount of pet fur embedded in the carpet. My children were walking around barefoot inside, and within a short time the bottoms of their feet were noticeably dirty.With a more thorough cleaning between guests, this property could be a fantastic place to stay. The location and character of the condo are definite strengths, but the cleanliness issues made our stay less comfortable than it otherwise would have been.

Lovely, cozy apartment above a coffee shop in perfect location for enjoying Salida. Enjoyed cocktails on the patio, cooked at home a few times, and close to lots of hiking and bike rides. So nice to bring our dog too.Thank you so much! Loved our stay.

The apartment was perfect for what we needed for a relaxing girls trip to Salida. The location is very convenient and close to shops, restaurants, the river, and the farmers market! Beds were very comfortable and the patio is lovely

Great location

Great location near restaurants, shops, and walking trails. It was a little difficult to find, but the host was great about taking my call and helping us find it! The second bedroom has a good sized bed for a couple. The only thing to be aware of is it has building wide heat so can be cold. They provided space heaters which was nice. Overall, a good stay!

Nice affordable friendly rental

This house was perfect for a long weekend in Salida with young kids - good floor plan and basic but clean and updated furnishings and finishes. Kitchen is easy for meal prep. Super close to downtown shops, restaurants and the playground. Easy access to trails on S Mountain. Property manager super responsive - no issues while we stayed though - they just checked in a few times to make sure we were okay.
