Somerset 711 - 3 Bedroom Beachfront!

A rare very spacious and beautifully decorated 3 bedroom 3 bath unit located in the Somerset Condominium. Great for large families or groups of friends on vacation! Breath taking view to the Gulf of Mexico with private access to the beach. The building offers two gulf front community heated pools, gulf from community BBQ grills (charcoal), tennis courts, pickleball courts, underground assigned parking, bike storage, lobby area and gym. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available in unit's storage room. Condo is walking distance to restaurants and much more.
Concierge check in and localized management.

Please be aware that after we accept your booking request, you will be receiving an email from The Somerset association for you to fill out their HOA form. This form has a non refundable fee of $100.


During May 1 - October 31 Renters see below in regards to Turtle Season

"Lessee [or substitute “Tenant” or “Renter” for “Lessee” everywhere that word appears in this paragraph, based on the term used in your Lease] acknowledges and understands that the period from May 1 through October 31 each year is Sea Turtle Nesting Season. Lessee agrees to Turn Off balcony lights before 9:00 p.m. and to close the drapes or window treatments of all windows facing the Gulf to minimize the projection of interior lights as any such lights may disorient an adult or newly hatched Sea Turtle. Lessee understands that the Turtles are endangered and protected by Federal Law. Substantial fines can be levied against the occupant/owner by law enforcement for violations of ordinances protecting Turtles. Lessee agrees to reimburse Owner for payment of the Fines imposed for violations during Lessee’s occupancy and for the reasonable legal defense costs incurred."

Great location, great property
We absolutely loved our stay at this property. Check-in was effortless. We received a text from the property manager a few days before and again upon the day of arrival with check-in instructions. She was our main point of contact throughout our stay and was extremely quick in responding if we had any questions. Pictures are an accurate representation of the property. Everything works great and appliances are clean and new. THE VIEW was amazing and you get great sunset views each night. We traveled with two very young kids and we loved that none of the bedrooms had joining walls so if one of them woke up in the middle of the night, it didn’t wake up the other. Bathrooms were very clean and well stocked with towels. There were also 5-6 beach towels included as well. In a separate storage locker there are 4 beach chairs and two beach umbrellas for use which we appreciated. Washer/dryer appliances are also new and worked great. As other reviewers noted, the exterior ceiling fan on the balcony is missing but that didn’t bother us one bit. There is no light on the balcony, but if we turned on the lights inside it was enough for us to sit out there and enjoy the ocean sounds and a cocktail after the kids were in bed. Location was perfect for us. We stayed for a week and walked to a different restaurant each night. Would recommend making reservations as some of the nicer places tend to book up quickly. Overall, a great property!! Can’t go wrong!!

Girls week
There were four girlfriends that stayed for a week in this condo. The pictures were accurate as well as the description of the property. The patio is oversized and very comfortable with lots of seating. The view is incredible!!! The manager was very responsive when we had an issue with one of our keys. She sent us a replacement in a very short time. The 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms worked very well with everyone of us. We would recommend this condo!

Just lovely...
First of all, I cannot commend the communication enough. I had a number of questions and they were very prompt about answering them, even when we were at the property and I had really stupid questions! The building is right on the beach. The condo directly overlooks the beach. It's perfectly beautiful location Another patron complained about dingy furniture covers (they are off-white, what do you expect?)... but they are CLEAN! and they may have been the ones that complained about the fan missing on the deck. I don't know why you need that. Everything worked great and we definitely used the space: laundry, cooking (I have food allergies so I cannot eat at restaurants very easily), Three bedrooms and three bathrooms were a huge blessing. I loved the dual showerhead in the master shower. The table was huge and gave us space for meals as well as planning our next adventure. The front porch was a great place to leave things that you don't want to bring into the condo, but probably shouldn't leave in the storage locker. I would definitely, 100%, stay again. It's an exceptional place if you want to relax on Marco Island beach. Up till now, we have always stayed at the Hilton. I love the Hilton, but there are no kitchens in the rooms at the Hilton. This far and away the better choice for us! Thank you Thank you Thank you

Bring a noodle
We called on the way and i asked if they had a place for a golf cart so Id know BEFORE i rented one. The office said yes they had 2 spots above. When we parked it there they said they had no electrical plug that was safe which was a lie. There was one directly below and the plug on cart was a 110. Yet they said it was a fire hazard. (My brother in law, who was there) is a electrician. When we first wallked in , " Everything " had a white cover on it and they were pretty stained... Other than that is was pretty clean. But IDK why anyone would put WHITE furniture covers on a rental. The white was a little overpowering as they were stained ,and they were ON EVERYTHING ! Also , there were 3 couples and 2 sets of keys. They locked a gate on the front driveway and a gate on the beach also. . That made it EXTREMELY inconvenient It was hard to go ANYWHERE for any of us , without someone being locked out. II would come to Marco Island again, but I would not stay at this particular resort. One last thing.. bring a noodle because thats all your allowed in the pool. Haha. Overall 5 out of 10 for the whole set up.

Unfortunately, our week long stay at unit 711 was not as pleasant as previous stays at other units at the Somerset. The condo needs updating. The living room furniture has white slipcovers which are discolored. The kitchen and laundry appliances were nice and functioned well. The balcony ceiling fan is no longer there, but the rusty outlet remains. Somerset had a main water line leak during our stay which required water service to be turned off on 7/5 and 7/7 and resulted in a boil-water order for the duration of our stay. There is also on-going window replacement construction. 711's windows were replaced already, but there are no window coverings in place yet allowing the hall and elevator lights to come in to the front bedroom which did not have blackout curtains. We were very unhappy to see that the north-side beach walk is under construction. One of the reasons we selected this particular unit was its proximity to the beach walkway. We had to walk to the south side of the building to access the beach lugging all our beach stuff. The distance proved too difficult for my disabled husband. They have not replaced the rinse station on the walkway so rinsing sand off feet and chairs is difficult at best.
