Renters Must Be 25 years of age or older to rent. Casa Chillax is a very spacious, comfortable home with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. This home sleeps 10 guests. It is located in the Emerald II subdivision. Casa Chillax is pet friendly with a $200.00 non-refundable fee. There is also a fenced in area for your pets and kids to play. Casa Chillax has a completely stocked kitchen with everything you would need to prepare your favorite family meals. Coffee lovers will appreciate having both a drip coffee and Keurig machine.
The home has WIFI for your convenience. You can stream your favorite shows and movies in the living room or master bedroom with the Smart TV.
Outside, you will find the perfect deck to lounge on with your favorite beverage or book! Downstairs you’ll enjoy cooking scrumptious meals on the charcoal grill in the small bar area, or sitting around the table visiting with family and friends. The beach is just a short walk, golf cart, or vehicle drive away. Don’t forget to wash off all the sand after a day in the sand and sun in the downstairs shower. We sometimes experience power outages at the beach, but at Casa Chillax you will not have to worry. This home is set up with a generator that can supply the entire home with power.
**Even when provided, internet access/satellite TV/cell service can be UNRELIABLE on the BOLIVAR PENINSULA. We are a rural community and weather sensitive. We apologize, but Bolivar Escapes CANNOT GUARANTEE that these amenities WILL BE WORKING during your stay, and CANNOT OFFER REFUNDS for disruption of these services.**

We provide linens and bath towels in every house and standard beds are made for your arrival. Paper products and cleaning supplies are not included.

There is a starter pack consisting of the items below, please bring anything else you will need:

3 white kitchen trash bags
2 dishwasher tab (if applicable)
2 laundry tab (if applicable)
1 sponge
1 small dish soap
2 roll toilet paper per toilet
Small bar hand soap
Beauty bar per bath
Trial shampoo/conditioner per full bath

Don't forget the beach towels, bug spray and sunscreen! Enjoy parasailing, sunset cruises, putt-putt, swim up bars, etc., on our beautiful peninsula!
This home might have an outdoor camera(s) to monitor the exterior of the home. Any attempt at disabling, redirecting or obscuring the camera(s) is prohibited and may result in the guest being evicted without refund of outstanding nights’ rents.
If a home has a lift or elevator, it is not for renter use unless otherwise stated in comments or with permission from Bolivar Escapes.

Great house. Plenty of room for 7 adults. Kitchen was nicely stocked for cooking our modified holiday meal.

Excellent house

The whole process was super smooth from the start. The house was awesome. Super modern and very homey. The master bathroom is ridiculously nice. I would rent this out every time if I could.

You never know if the property you are renting is as good as the pictures look. Casa Chillax is EXACTLY as shown. It was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our week long stay. We will rent this one again.

Family Beach Vacay

My family and I had a wonderful time at Casa Chillax. My boys loved the bunk room with the stairs. We enjoyed the comfortable bed and great shower in the master! One recommendation would be to stock the kitchen a little better (pans, utensils, etc) Being that crystal does not offer many restaurants, it would be great to have adequate pans/platters to serve, take food off the grill, etc. We did have a minor issue with the septic tank, but our property manager handled it quickly and efficiently. The house is beautifully decorated, and we plenty enough space for our family of 5. Thanks for sharing your home with us, and we definitely recommend this property!

We LOVED renting this beach house! It’s exactly as pictured, super clean and well stocked. We have 5 kids and all were comfortable in their own beds and slept well. We really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be renting this house again!

Life’s a Beach!

Property was new, clean and just as shown in the pictures. Master bath had walk in rain shower. Master had lighted crown molding for ambience. The beds were comfy. The decor was modern and inviting. The deck was a great place to relax. We loved the outdoor shower and the BBQ area, although the grill hadn’t been emptied of coals or cleaned in some time. The kitchen had mostly everything you needed. No complaints about the house or the neighbors. The houses adjoining the property and in front are well kept and luxurious. The entrance into the neighborhood tells a different story. But don’t let that unattractive subdivision entrance sign and the first few lean to’s fool you. There are some very nice homes in here and it was quiet. It was about a 3 block walk to the beach, so either bring a wagon or rent a golf cart. We were able to build a fire on the beach and had s’mores. It was the perfect 4 day get away for our family. We would come back.

Family vacation

We had a great time at the house! The only issue we encountered was when we went to check if the windows were all locked to call it a night, the first night. Some wouldn’t shut. I emailed and texted the contact information of the information book they leave out for you and didn’t get a response until the next day at 5pm. One of the windows was the kids room so the kiddos had to sleep with us, which after a long day of driving was not fun for them or us. Thankfully the problem was fixed but the lady that contacted me sounded frustrated with me. Other than that, the amenities were great! And watching the sunrise was beautiful. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family

Quiet, restful, Texas getaway

So beautiful, nice area and very quiet. The house is perfect with lots of amenities. This island requires a bring your own fun attitude. Super laid back and not commercialized. We had so much fun!! Our only hiccup was a “boil water” advisory that the neighbors told us about around 9am. The management company set us a text at 3pm that same day. We texted back and asked if they would let us know when it was over, they said yes and then we never heard another thing from them. With that being said we went into Galveston for the day and I thought I left my straightener plugged in. Called the management company to ask if they could check to make sure it was unplugged and they did. Will we come back? Absolutely!! Tell Craig (neighbor) we said hi!! The Kuhnen’s

Cute, cozy and spacious

Easy check in. Beautiful property. 3 streets fro quiet beach. Store in town had everything we needed. House was spacious and perfect for our family. There were 7 of us. We will come here again. Property managers super helpful. No issues with property at all. The house had everything we needed and more!
