Absolutely stunning location. The gravel driveway is a bit rough, but we had no problems with a standard rental car. Beautiful views from anywhere on the property. Great pool, short walk to beach, very well equipped kitchen, and Beautiful outdoor cooking areas.

The house is nice, but the road down to it requires a 4 x 4 as un made full of holes and rough to drive road leads up to the houseThe house lacked the thing's that make a stay relaxing and i wouldn't recommend or go again to this property It was lacking a kettle for the first 3 days, a coffee machine although there were coffee pods, no freezer at all and no mirror in 1of the bedrooms. If you book remember to take washing up liquid, dishwasher tablet's, kitchen roll, and washing detergent The kitchen knives are blunt But it did have nice outside space, lovely swimming pool and a lovely view.

Great vacation spot, fully equipped new house.

We rent the house with another family and stayed 2+ weeks. We were 8 in total. The house was brand new, full comfort, very well equipped. When something was missing we were just calling the landlord and he was coming with was missing... Magical! Owners are very friendly speak multiple languages. The garden wasn't finish at that time but I know now it is covered with grass with a watering system, 50+ olive trees and roughly the same amount of lavenders... The beach down the house is a perfect spot to take a early bird bath (we went there as early as 6am), all day long or night (teenagers went there various times over night) as it is desert and beautiful. You need to rent a small convertible SUV as the road is pretty rocky and bumpy. But this is the price to pay to enjoy your (almost) own beach and the privacy of the house. The island is beautiful with gorgeous beaches and tavernas. While Andros is a secret gem of the cyclades, there is all the comfort needed such as pharmacies, small supermarkets as well as fresh vegetables you buy at the harbor directly to the growers, off their old truck, ditto for fresh fish and meat. Speaking about fish, 3 minutes down a hill by the house, you have a tuna farm, it is awesome to go diving there with the kids with mask, tuba and fins. What else could I say? You can trust the owner, his wife and 2 teenagers. they'll do all to make you feel at home and discover the island. We will indeed come again soon, just to see how's the house finished. :-)

Das Haus an sich ist wirklich schön und die Lage hat uns ebenfalls sehr gefallen. Nah am Meer und ansonsten sehr ruhig. Anfahrt nur über teils sehr schlechte Wege. Die Zimmer und Bäder sind wie in der Beschreibung und die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Es sind immer zwei Zimmer mit einem Flur verbunden, über den man nach draußen gelangt. Ist die Außentür abgeschlossen, wird das vordere Zimmer zum Durchgangszimmer. Aus diesem Grund wäre es toll, wenn für jeden Verbindungsflur ein Schlüssel zur Verfügung stehen würde.Der Außenbereich war bei unserer Ankunft nicht besonders gründlich gereinigt. Auf unseren Hinweis, wurde jedoch direkt am ersten Tag noch einmal geputzt.Die größte Enttäuschung erlebten wir mit dem Pool. Dieser war die erste Woche komplett grün und milchig, was an Kupfer im Wasser lag. Man versicherte uns zwar, dass der Pool gefahrlos zu nutzen sei, aber im Internet gab es dazu anders lautende Angaben und der Wasserzustand war derart unschön, dass an Baden nicht zu denken war. Hier verhielt sich die Vermieterin leider nicht sehr kooperativ. Erst nach Intervention von FeWo, wurde eine Erstattung gezahlt.Dann hatten wir noch ein paar Mal mit Stromausfällen zu kämpfen, was dazu führte, dass zwischendurch kein Wasser zur Verfügung stand. Hier wäre es angebracht eine Notstromversorgung zu installieren. Es entsteht leider der Eindruck, dass hauptsächlich Geld verdient werden soll und notwendige Dinge nicht umgesetzt werden. Die Probleme sind ja bekannt.

Tranquillité

Maison au calme proche de la mer, confortable avec une piscine de belle taille et de profondeur parfaite pour des jeux en famille. 6 chambres avec 3 salles de bain, chacune desservant deux chambres. L’air conditionné dans chaque a permis de dormir sans être accablé par la chaleur extérieure. La vue sur la mer est très belle. Dommage qu’une maison en construction avoisinante vienne gêner cette vision. Le village de gavrio est à 15 min de voiture ( SUV ou 4x4). Petite voiture s’abstenir !Bref excellents moments de détente en famille.
