It was exactly what we needed for a short stay and sleep. Was in town for a wedding. The host allowed us early check in to get ready for the wedding.Only suggestion is to replace the feather pillows, they were so flat, even using two. We usually bring our own but forgot them!

Would not recommend. Tried to communicate with host to ask to cut our visit short. No reply.Looking for a refund. The picture is deceiving. There was barely room for us to pass between the end of the bed and wall. The bedding and furniture needs major upgrading. The shower curtain liner was disgusting. There is also an adjoining door in the room that is not sound deadening. It was if they were in the same room.Overall it was disappointing.

Check in was easy. Atmosphere was very dorm like and not very welcoming. Kitchen facilities were minimal. Was a very warm day and air conditioning was not turned on for arrival. Plastic shower curtain was gross, water stained.

Nice Stay in Canmore

This is a classic hotel suite with basic ammenities. It's in a great location as soon as you enter Canmore which was perfect for what we needed. There were some basic things that we were a bit surprised about. The bed had a plasticky fitted sheet (like for children who wet the bed) and a regular flat sheet on top, so it would always slide off and wouldn't stay. I kept waking up feeling sticky against the plastic sheet. The throw pillows are visibly old and stained. We had to do some trouble shooting whenever we needed to use the TV, plugging, unplugging to get it to work. There were a few dishes to use which was helpful, but no way to clean them properly, only a bathroom sink, no dishsoap or sponge. Overall, it's a good spot in Canmore for a couple nights. Lovely to have A/C as an option in the summer too.

Perfect for what we needed

The room was smaller than expected but for the cost it meet our needs. We spend most out time out hiking and experiencing the area so the size worked for us.

Somewhat disappointing

VERY small room. If you are wanting to spend any time in the room this would not be the place. We drive a truck with roof rack so could not fit in the parking garage and parking on the street or around back very sparse.

Tourist Town Ripoff

I often choose accomodation in Windtower when I visit Canmore, because its one of the more affordable places to stay. However, this particular room is showing signs of wear and tear. Bedside tables, lamps and other accessories are old and wore . The coffee maker is old school and unsanitary. The room is Looks like its decorated with items from a second hand store. The window is repaired with duct tape.... not what I expect from any accomodation, regardlees of cost. Being in Canmore, the owner should invest some of his easy money into his property.other

Tiny and dated

This room is tiny and the furniture is dated. Entry, hallways and grounds are all tired / worn. This room is so small that I don’t recommend 2 people stay here. Just finding a place to put one bag (nevermind two) is difficult. The fan in the bathroom sounds like an engine about to fall apart. Walkability to shops and restaurants is decent, so if you still decide to stay here, just use the room to sleep, nothing else.

Perfect spot to stay in Canmore

The room was within walking distance of shopping, restaurants, and walking paths. You can even see some mountains from the window. Gorgeous town with lots to do!

Great for a single or couple. Has all you need for a simple stay. No big-time cooking. However a microwave is available. A place to rest for the night. Wifi can be iffy; which in turn, affects TV shows. If you're there just to watch TV, then you'll be disappointed. But otherwise, all other reasons... a good enough stay for the price! Cutlery, bedding, towels, soaps, shampoos all adequately provided.

The property has what you need in terms of day to day. Enough towels, plates, cutlery, microwave, fridge. If you plan to stay for a week, it's good. ONLY MICROWAVE is available. No stove tops, or ovens. We managed with just a microwave because you can do quite a lot of cooking via a microwave. There's enough coffee to last a lifetime. King size bed is comfortable for the average weight and height. Overall a 4/5.

Highly recommend!

We had the best stay and highly recommend booking this place. Jeff was a great host and provided us with helpful information before we arrived, so everything went smoothly and we knew we could contact him anytime with any questions. The location was perfect (the wedding we attended was just across the road), the room was clean and we had everything that we needed. August 2023 Canmore trip

My husband and I stayed 3 days in this room. It was clean and had everything we needed, but it was very small. Only 1 person could walk around the bed at a time. It does have a king bed, but probably would be better with a queen so there is more room to move around. My other complaint is that it was very warm in the room. The hallway was cooler than our room. There was a window air conditioner- and we had it running full speed constantly, but it still couldn't keep the room cool. The air conditioner was also extremely loud. We basically spent as little time in the room as possible. Would not recommend renting this room.

This space is ideal for couples who want to enjoy some time away from the busy life and enjoy the majestic Rocky Mountains. Downtown Canmore is within 10 minutes walking distance or a few minutes drive, where you can stroll through town and browse the shops, enjoy nice meals, or spoil yourself with a day at the spa. If you are looking to be active during your stay, you can enjoy one of the nearby golf courses, or during ski season check out one of 4 ski resorts in the surrounding areas. Nearby there are fascinating hiking trails and bike trails.
