This stay was overall terrible
Communication lacking—-owner only responsive to herself. Absolutely no listening which is part of effective communication.
Food from previous guest still in oven, dirty bathrooms, dishes
No response to the fact that I and my dogs became seriously Ill during stay requiring us to leave quickly to get to specialist MD

This person had the most erratic behavior. She taped all the doors and windows closed with duct tape, including the cabinets in the living room, even the smoke detector and baseboard heat. The tape was everywhere. She lied about the size of her dogs. One of them a big Rottweiler. She did not keep her dogs secure. It ran across the road and attacked a neighbor walking his job. This sent the dog to the vet for almost $1000 and then man had to go to urgent care. When asked to pay for vet bill, she packed up her stuff and skipped town. She sent a text saying she was going away for a few days, but then packed everything, put the keys inside the door and left. The attack was reported to the Vance county Sheriff department and has several witnesses. It was a very stressful and negative situations. Please check my other reviews for accurate information regarding my places. It is clean and I care about my guests.
Overall this place was a good place to stay. Carol was very accommodating and easy to get in touch with if we needed anything. Only downfall i would say is that this is a 100 year old house and it is not very well insulated. When the temperature outside got up into the 90’s, the temperature in the house stayed in the 80’s. Didn’t matter how low you turned the air down
