October in Hawaii

This beautiful property was our home for 6 weeks. It was spacious, clean, and was exactly as stated and pictured. Located in the hills, it was an easy and convenient drive to Kona and the beaches where we spent most of our time. When at home we enjoyed the view, eating on the lanai and relaxing. We highly recommend this property.

Lovely Retreat Near Kona

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a wonderful property in a very good location high above the town of Kona. In particular the kitchen and lanai are fantastic. You have a 5 burner gas range, excellent counter top space, and everything you need to cook for a long-term stay. The lanai is massive, overlooking the ocean, with lovely breezes and sunsets. The master bed and overall furniture was exceedingly comfortable, and the bathroom is a 10/10. You have a great jacuzzi bathtub and as good a shower as I've ever seen at any rental or hotel. Excellent water pressure and a massive head with a handheld faucet as well. This rental is perfect for a couple or if you have one car. The only drawback is if you have two vehicles because it's a shared driveway with another house on the property. It's also worth mentioning that's it's a blind driveway that can be a bit scary getting out. You wouldn't think there would be traffic in that area, but there is more action than it appears. Be careful getting out! Lastly, I think a better entertainment and TV option should be available. The internet is excellent, so it's easy to just use your laptop. All in all, this is an outstanding and well kept/equipped home in a perfect location on the Big Island. I would recommend it highly.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second stay at this beautiful home. It is bright, comfortable, clean, quiet, and it's temperature cool with just fans. The lanai where we spend most of our time is amazing and the geckos are friendly. The kitchen is well stocked but to be honest we don't go to Hawaii to cook, just very simply, so everything was perfect for us. It is an easy drive to Kona, the beaches, restaurants and the marina where we meet our dive boats.

Great house on the Big Island

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was afraid the house would not live up to it's pictures but it did in every way. The house is spacious and high enough up country to have a great view and get a nice breeze. We used the lanai for breakfast and dinner outside. The seperate entrance bedroom was perfect for giving my guests some privacy. The house was clean and well set up with plenty of storage. The on-island host, Lisa, contacted us right away and was very friendly and communicative. We liked being a bit away from the crowds but the house is still close enough to get to restaurants and the beaches in short order.
