About this property

Townsend River Villa | Hot Tub with River Access

Watch the Little River from the porch swing of a spacious, thoughtfully designed home with direct water access, a private 10-person hot tub, real game space, and room for up to 10 guests. Fancy Pants blends the calm of a Townsend river setting with polished, distinctive interiors and our signature peacock flair, professionally decorated and built in 2017.

Every one of the approximately 3,000 square feet sits on one easy, step-free interior level facing the water, which is why multi-generational groups keep choosing it for milestone trips, including an 80th birthday celebrated right here. Tubers drift past on summer afternoons, and more than one guest has told us the loudest thing about this place is the river.

We are a family of 4 who love adventure and enjoy sharing some of our favorite places with you! From the ancient Smoky Mountains (did you know this mountain range is the 8th oldest in the WORLD?!), to the gorgeous white sands and glassy waters of the Florida Panhandle/Emerald Coast. Parker is an award-winning mortgage loan originator specializing in helping families start their short-term rental portfolios, while Oz is a "retired" Electronic Engineer, who now spends his days tirelessly working on each of our properties to keep them in great condition! Our daughter Taliesin who is headed to college has been involved in design and decor and our son Zolin who is still in high school just might be the one to answer your message or inquiry. We are emotionally attached to each of our properties (even though we aren't supposed to be lol) and we truly hope you enjoy them as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

Choose Fancy Pants when your group spans generations. The entire home, approximately 3,000 square feet built in 2017, lives on a single step-free interior level facing the Little River, so grandparents, parents, and toddlers all move easily, and guests repeatedly pick it for milestone gatherings, including an 80th birthday.

The home sleeps up to 10: two California king bedrooms, a two-queen room, and a twin-over-twin bunk room, with 2 full bathrooms and a half bath. Split-ductless climate control gives every room its own thermostat, a detail guests praise because everyone finally sleeps at their own temperature. The open living-dining-kitchen space centers group time, the induction cooktop comes with compatible cookware, and a dedicated workspace with fast Wi-Fi covers the remote-work day.

Outside: the private 10-person hot tub, a screened porch with the swing pointed at the water, ping pong and arcade games, a wood-burning fire pit, a charcoal grill, in-unit laundry, and a private Level 2 EV charger. The riverfront in front of the home is set up for this home's guests, with tubing outfitters launching just down the road all summer.
