Snow Creek Retreat is perfect for all individuals and groups - artists, writers, couples, families, and quiet events or gatherings. Just 11 miles west of Spring Hill, 19 miles south of downtown Franklin and 40 miles south of downtown Nashville, this home sits on 6 acres of wooded and cleared land. Breathtaking views, easy access to shopping and restaurants, yet you have a beautiful starry view of the clear night sky unobstructed by city lights. No loud parties allowed. No access to shed. Bug spray highly recommended. Ticks and chiggers are prevelant during warm weather months.
Main level has 3 bedrooms; one of which has a futon and is set up as an office with a writing desk. The master has a king bed and the third bedroom has a queen bed. The 4th bedroom is downstairs and has 2 twin beds. Sofa in living room can sleep 2 or 3 people as well (not a sleeper sofa but can be used if needed to sleep).
Note: this is a remote location. Cell service is virtually non-existent. There is high speed internet via Starlink however, so wi-fi calls are the way to go. There are no street lights so if you arrive in the evening after dark take caution; low visibility.

I made a reservation to stay in what was advertised as a "4 bedroom house that sleeps 12" in Columbia, TN. ("Snow Creek Retreat 20 minutes South of Franklin").When my wife arrived at the property on Thursday, June 4, the house was unlocked. My wife immediately felt unsafe as this house is in a very remote location and she had no cell or internet service. The house being unlocked on our arrival was unacceptable. When my wife walked through the house she was disappointed in the lack of 4 bedrooms (as advertised) and one of the beds in 1 of the bedrooms had a mattress that is so thin that it is unsleepable. She immediately left the house, drove 15 miles where she could get cell signal, and tried to call the owners. She was unable to reach the owners because they had an automated voicemail that said, "The number you are attempting to call is not taking calls at the moment." My wife returned to the house, did a video showing the lack of 4 bedrooms and the bedroom that is unsleepable. We emailed that video to VRBO. The agent from VRBO then tried to connect me on the phone with the owner and again the owner was unavailable. I will say the support staff from VRBO has been fantastic and did provide me with a full refund and cancellation based on all the information above.

Dennis, the listing clearly shows all 4 bedrooms and the number of beds. It also mentions that due to the remote location cell service is very bad. That is the main reason people stay at the home - for its remote location. There is however very fast Starlink internet in the home access to which was provided. This makes it so you can make calls easily from the home. You claim to have called me but you did not. Being spooked by the remote location does not justify making inaccurate claims about the home and stealing $1600 from an owner.
This was a great place to stay for a large group. Check-in and out was super easy. There was some miscommunication on the check in day which the owner apologized for and was able to give us come compensation for. This was so appreciated! Would definitely stay again.
We came to visit family in nearby Spring Hill. This was a quiet and peaceful retreat to come to each day after visiting with the grandchildren. There was plenty of space with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on one level. The host Matthew was very responsive to any questions we had.

Thank you so much, Joan. I hope that you can return sometime. I really enjoyed having you!
The house was clean and spacious. However, it is on a very steep hill so no activities or playing in the yard. The back deck butts right up to the hill. There are some trails up the hill but when we went exploring we all came back with several ticks on us. Beware, they are bad.

Ed, in all of the texts you sent asking for reduction in price due to members of your party leaving early you never mentioned any maintenance issues. Of course if you had mentioned any concerns I would have taken care of them right away. The listing clearly states that the internet is slow and cell service is poor due to the property being in the country. Additionally, your comments about the section of town are offensive and borderline disciminatory. I encourage you to read the listing when you book a stay and if you do not want to stay in the country do not book a property titled Snow Creek Retreat described to be in a remote area with a wooded backdrop. Your veiled threats to post a negative review if we did not refund additional money when your friends/family left are also disappointing and amount to extortion.
Great property! It was in the mountains and out of the way just enough to be the perfect get away.
What a fantastic trip. The house has a great layout, huge family area, kitchen and dining room for family fun. Close enough to Nashville and Franklin for some exciting activities. And still in the middle of nature for some new kayaking adventures. Wish we could have stayed longer!

This is a beautiful property! We were in the area for a wedding, so we didn't get to spend as much time here as we would have liked. Would definitely stay here again!
