Pleasant stay in tranquil surroundings

We were there to attend some local events near Chatellerault so the location was very convenient for us. The gite had everything we needed and we made good use of the garden and bbq. It is a scenic, quiet area with some nice walks and interesting local towns and villages.

Een paradijsje in een prachtig Frans gebied

We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad! Het was juli en overal snikheet maar hier gem. 27 graden. Het gerestaureerde boerenhuisje van Benjamin en Myriam is schattig, schoon, compleet en prima geschikt voor twee personen. Goed bed en complete keuken. Verder een grote tuin waar je een royaal eigen gedeelte voor de gasten hebt en een eigen parkeerplaats. Pleumartin is een landelijk dorp in een lieflijke omgeving (Vienne/Limousin) waar veel te bezoeken en te zien is. Talloze dorpjes en historische stadjes hebben we fietsend of met de auto bezocht. Zelfs La Rochelle! Het was inclusief twee dagen gebruikmaken van hun prive zwembad, dat op 25 m afstand van het huis ligt en heel schoon en fris is met zout water. Dus de warmste dagen waren daarmee ook heel fijn. Myriam en Benjamin deden alles om het ons naar de zin te maken. Ik raad het huisje zeker aan: voor deze prijs kun je iets beters nergens krijgen.

Séjour en Poitou

Nos hôtes ont été très sympathiques, prévenants et discrets. Le logis était restauré avec beaucoup de goût et offrait tout le confort. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.
